Review: Working so - Working great
Review: AC blowing but not cold or fan isn't spinning? It's probably this. - Easy Fix if You Do It Right - symtoms include "my ac is blowing but it's not cold" and "it's not blowing COLD air and the thing with the fan outside isn't spinning." Swapping it out is super easy. First—shut off the power at the breaker or pull out the cutoff handle by the unit. No exceptions. There are video how to do it. The capacitor is usually behind the small access panel on the side of the condenser—near where the power lines and thermostat wires enter the unit. Pop that panel off, and you’ll see it mounted inside, usually a metal cylinder with a bunch of wires connected to the top. Take photos everywhere so you can see how it's all plugged in. Don't skip this! Sometimes the capacitor will actually LOOK bad. Tons of rust or the top is bubbled up a little like a dropped soda can. Make sure you get the right Bojack replacement. Match the microfarads (uF), voltage, Hertz, and the number of terminal blade clusters on top (typically 2 or 3). This Bojack matched mine perfectly. Again, tons of helpful YouTube videos show the whole process step-by-step. Once you’ve double-checked everything, just disconnect the wires (check your photos), swap in the new one, reconnect, and you’re done. Whole job took maybe 15 minutes. Capacitors go bad from heat, age, and general wear. If that’s your issue, this is an easy, cheap DIY fix. Just be safe and take your time. You'll need a socket wrench or screw driver to remove that piece of the panel, some pliers to pull off the wires connected to the old, and again your socket wrench to remove it from it's little harness. Pro tip: unscrew one of the two screws for the harness and pull it out a little. Then you can hold the capacitor with one hand and pull the connections off with your pliers with the other. I highly suggest just watching YouTube vidoes first to avoid any shock or confusion. I'm a dummy and even I did it. Haha The capacitor comes in a little box and when you compare old vs new, you'll see difference. You'll certainly feel it when the AC works again. Good luck. It'll work! You'll save tons of money.

This capacitor was just what I needed to get my old air compressor running like new. It was very easy to install and the fit to the cover was good.
