I have tried 2 different charger cables already, but neither plug will fit in the socket on my Renault Zoe 2015 - will this one fit?

No this will not fit a Zoe you need the Zoe specific plug

If the M4 is a type 2 then yes it will fit. I have it for my Jag I Pace and it is great when I need to use it to draw from a standard 3 pin plug connector. For me it was a great buy.
