**Q: Why does my dough stick to the basket? Using plenty of flour but it sticks every time**
A: Try using a mixture of rice flour, at least 50% to wheat. After each bake I leave the banneton in the switched off oven to thoroughly dry out and tap out any excess flour before storing.

**Q: Do you bake the bread in the banneton?**
A: Banneton is for proofing only (last raise). Baking in banneton would damage both the basket and your bread.

**Q: Is it best not to wash/get the bannetons wet?**
A: I would not recommend washing it with water - I shake and tap excess off after use and when dried use a stiff brush to clean it off.

**Q: Is the basket easy to clean?**
A: Yes, cleaning the basket is simple. Just remove any excess flour and let it air dry. Avoid using water or soap as it can damage the rattan material.
