Out of all the things I’ve bought, they have all lost their usefulness over time, most things only last so long, but this is an investment, the price for this has increased a couple hundred since I’ve bought it, and it is virtually indestructible, not even bullets can hurt it and it will outlive you, your kids, and your kids kids, this product will never fail to make others smile and surprise them, it is the perfect desk piece. If you do get this just remember to be very careful with it, I think it should come with a warning to not drop it, not for the cubes sake but for the floors sake, hard wood floor? Concrete? Stainless steel? Steel toe boot? This cube will destroy all of that if dropped and still remain just like new, you couldn’t hurt this even if you tried, I’ve held a blowtorch to the side for about a minute and believe it or not the side felt just as cold as before right after. It’s held its shine perfectly, its elemental properties are intriguing to me and others, I love handing it to people and watching their hand drop and their face light up, this has been the most meaningful thing in my life so far and I don’t know what I would do without it. I highly recommend you get this, you will get exactly what you pay for and this object cannot physically lose value over time so if you change your mind you can re sell it, probably for more than you payed for.

Just received this today, it is as far as I know the only substance of this density that is relatively affordable. Very well crafted, smooth and incredibly heavy, the weight is very close to gold. Really impressed and I plan on buying some more of these in the future. This size is the best deal price wise per pound as the spheres aren't as voluminous and probably require more machine work.Great paperweight and it's amusing to see the expressions of people who want to move it aside! Will get a old fashioned scale soon to take pictures of it outweighing stuff like a gallon of water.

Nice conservation piece. Weight can be quite misleading for persons trying to quickly pick up the Tungsten cube by hand. You don't expect it to be that heavy. Tungsten is the best thing to have as an affordable high density metal. A 2.5" cube of pure Iridium would be of course even more heavier (density 22.56 g/cm3), but having nearly 5.8 kg iridium in your hand look impressive, it will also empty your wallet by USD 180000 or more.The Midwest Tungsten Cube is much cheaper, but with its glossy brushed finish looks like a gorgeous art object, especially when placed on the plastic transparent holder that is included with the package.

I own both the 2.5" and 2" cubes, and both are impressive to hold. I'd say the 2" size is best for people with smaller hands, namely children and smaller adults. The 2.5" size is great for people with larger hands.As a fidget toy, the 2" cube is best in my opinion, but who can deny the immense heft of the 2.5" cube? I can reach out and pick up the 2", but struggle a little if I'm reaching across my desk to pick up the 2.5" cube.My only non-complaint is the sturdiness of the stand. The enclosed stand was intended for lighter weigh objects such as Rubik's cubes, but was never intended for what will no doubt remain THE most dense object any of us will ever hold in our lifetimes (unless you can afford to spend $300,000 for the equivalent 2.5" gold cube).

It’s a cube!In all seriousness, the density/weight is amazing and a great conversation pieceIf you have arthritis, you seriously may not be able to grab this with fingers-only and lift it!I think the 2” version would be easier to handle, and at 6+ pounds (the 2.5 Inch is 10 lbs), it’s still plenty heavy enough to amaze people, perhaps more so considering that visually, it’s even smaller while still being 6+ pounds.
