Amazing tool, probably gets used almost as much as our shop vacuums. We run ours between 90 and 95 PSI, a little on the high side, but my god does this tool work wonders. Lifting even the most stubborn dirt and grime from those matted down carpet fibers. The rebuild kits are affordable as well, and the tool is super easy to maintain to keep it running well. For the price, vortex clearly undershoots “tornador”, but when comparing side to side, the two tools act and function nearly identical, with the only difference being that you’re paying nearly $30 extra for a brand name. Get the vortex, you don’t need the tornador brand name. I typically expect a 25 hour duty cycle with each vortex before having to buy a rebuild kit. You heard that correctly, you should be able to run your vortex air cannon for 25 hours STRAIGHT before having to buy rebuild kits. These things are STRONG. I think my current setup has vortex air cannons from December of 2024, and we use them twice a week for about 1 hour total duty cycle.

Don’t hold to close to the carpet as it can alter the carpet appearance to be a bit puffier/looser. But this thing made me laugh at how well it works. Not sure what you could compare it to as it is the first and only thing I’ve used that can take all loose debris out of all the areas of the carpet and even hard to clean areas like inside and around the seat mounts and tracks. Hands down a must have for car cleaning. Did such a good job I had to clean the whole truck as it was addicting. Can use with a vacuum to suck up what it loosens or better word blasts out of the carpet. I ended up opening the doors and blasting everything right out of the car. I must note even though I have a decent compressor this thing drains the tank pretty quick. Didn’t affect me much as I would just take little breaks and wipe things down in between. Say approx 10 seconds of use then approx 20 seconds for compressor to build some pressure before using again. Highly recommend!
