I absolutely love the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Color Boosting Conditioner. After using it for a few weeks, I can really see the difference — my hair looks more vibrant, rich, and naturally brown. Great product! 4 stars because of packaging- it was shipped loose in box with other items- thankfully it didn’t pop open but if it did it would have been an issue. Had to shift to ordering online as I can’t find this in stores anywhere near me anymore. Great smell, softness and moisture without leaving hair greasy. Highlights color nicely.

I like this brown shampoo. I have dyed blonde hair. I use the purple shampoo until my roots start showing then start using the brown. Makes it blend better for a while and extends the time between dye jobs. Tones it to keep orange away.

I purchased this shampoo & the conditioner after reading the very consistently enthusiastically positive reviews on each product. After several months of use - I Do TOTALLY Concur - - my quite whitening hair has gradually darkened - to a natural look that’s younger - maybe a decade ?!? There’s no demarcation line of new growth - no fading of the shade as w/ regular hair coloring. ( = Ughh !!! ) Amazing, economical, easy-peasy - an extra 7 mins in the shower to give the color time to set !!! NO dye color rubbing off onto bath towels !!! I wash my hair about every 5 days - & do the appropriate timing routine. Do not know how quickly the coloring might wash out, otherwise.

Love this shampoo and have bought more than once. Effective clean and help hair stay healthy.

It's OK. I haven't purchased John Frieda products in a while. I used to love the original scent of Brilliant Brunette. It has since changed and Im not really feeling it. Doesn't have the same luxury feel it had many years ago. Reminds me of Sauve. It works fine, but the scent and quality matter. I won't be buying again.
