I love this! It is so much easier than a multimeter if you don't need all the bells and whistles. You just plug it in and it tells you what's going on with your outlet! It's very small as you can see, it fits in the palm of my hand and I am a very petite woman. I like that it is so small because I can take it with me because I use it for my earthing mat to make sure that the outlet is properly grounded. Since I used the grounding mat in other places besides my home. I can just stick this in the Box of the groundy map and take it with me to ensure that wherever I go. For the price, you get a full checkup of your A/C outlets. You will know if you have true ground and if the polarity is correct. Very useful.

Perfect and easy to use and it tells what the issue is if an outlet is not wired correctly. Using this is much cheaper than hiring an electrician and is validates my work was done properly.

This is a simple tool that immediately diagnosed a problem with my outlet. You plug it in and it lights up. Then you compare the lights to the onboard lighting chart. By lighting up, it will also show if an outlet has power or not, but I would still check with a multimeter. It was not expensive and worked exactly as promised. Every homeowner should probably have one of these if you do any electrical work.I would recommend this to anyone.

Just plug it in and it shows you if your outlet works. I used it for my grounding sheet. And yes, the grounding sheet works great!

Works perfectly, and great build quality, but doesn't have a button to test GFCI. This is what I wanted, but may not be what you want. I had an issue with an awkwardly placed GFCI plug - and I kept accidentally pressing the GFCI button on my other tester, which tripped the GFCI breaker. Annoying! This tester was the perfect solution.

Every home should have one to test the plug. I bring it with me when I go house hunting to make sure the wiring is done right. Cheap way to test plug.

Product is as described.... nothing fancy easy to use and very affordable.

Handy little tool. Only negative thing, I had an older (different manufacturer) tester where the display LED's are much more vivid & colourful (bright red, bright green LED’s). Otherwise they both do exactly the same thing.
