I bought this as part of a Christmas present and was quite pleased with overall look. Priced at £14.69 it is a little expensive but you need to take account the electronics etc to help with counting your currency.The piggybank appears strong and durable and the lid unscrews to retrieve the coins when you need them.The piggybank takes batteries to enable the LCD counter, which is located in the lid to work. It seems to have a good capacity for coins, I have £100 x 20p inside. It counted them well if one was placed at a time but as I had so many I just adjusted the LCD display and the receiver of gift can simply add as they go along.The counter worked reasonably well but a few times missed a coin but I think this was due to inserting too quickly, one after the other.As the piggy bank is clear you can quickly see the contents enclosed and it is reassuring to see the amount calculated on the LCD screen.

The pig design is really cute durable and accurate. It’s a large size to hold plenty coins. I love that it’s transparent so can see money filling up. I have used for 1 month and battery still going strong. All of money put in has been counted accurately almost £30 in all UK coins and I manually added notes that I simply opened money box and placed inside. It’s handy with the manual add or take money buttons incase take money out or if you want to add notes. It is now more of a pleasure to save than a chore. I’m an adult and I love this money box. It’s a great gift for kids and adults.

I’ll like to say I wanted to get a piggy bank for my son. This seemed like the perfect item for him however it went downhill in a matter of hours.It got delivered today and I eagerly got it out and set it up. At first it was ok, however it just ended up being really bad. It started counting 2p as 50p (this happened 20 times), then it was counting imaginary 5p about 10 times. It had counted £14.67 when I only counted £4.49 (ended up counting everything by hand and using brainpower). Then the buttons on the lid stopped working so I couldn’t count anything.It was honestly a disaster. For the price you’d expect something to last. This item lasted 1 hour maybe less for me. So I’ve asked for return and refund which l be sorting out tomorrow. It’s a shame honestly because I loved the piggy design.

Just received our piggy bank and put in £77 worth of silver and got every coin spot on.The only problem we had when a coin went half way in and popped back out so counted it twice, but that was my fault.Very pleased and recommend this, very accurate.Happy!!

Worked fine for like a month. Then it started to be really slow, but okay I can just put my change in very slowly. Now whenever I add any coins as large as a 10p 50p £2 etc it doesn’t register them at all and then goes back to the amount that was in it a few coins ago? So literally can’t use it anymore. Awful quality and a waste of money.
