RUDY's Clay Spray - Hair Texturizer with Sea Salt - Paraben Free - For Fullness and Body (8 fl oz)

This product even when applied to my wet hair leaves a visible white residue. The pump also stopped working after the first couple uses because the grittiness of the clay clogged the sprayer. Bummed because i love Rudy's but this product was a waste of money for me.

It's important to spray into your hand to apply. Do not spray like you would hairspray.

Have been searching for a texture spray for a while. Really wanted to like this item -- i like the scent, the spray bottle works well, and it provides nice texture in my hair. However, the product is basically unusable because it leaves behind lots of white dusty residue every where you spray in your hair. This happened no matter what I tried: spray from far away, rub in with fingers, blow dry after, etc. And I did shake the bottle well before application. I googled reviews of this product to see if anyone else had this issue and I found tons of reviews online at other sites (e.g. Birchbox) where people mention this same issue.

I neither hate nor love this product. It is pretty much just middle of the road. I wanted to try something different than what I had used in the past so I gave it a go. If you have a tried & true go-to product, I would suggest sticking to that. However, if you are still looking for the product that suits you best, give it a shot! Everyone has different opinions and different hair varieties. My hair is straight and relatively thick, unless I get it thinned out. Hope that helps shape your choice to buy or pass on this.

Love this stuff. Keeps fine hair from looking greasy by the end of the day.
