No, it does not. If anything, it would dry the air out, but you would never feel it.

Q: Can you vent this unit into a chimney?

I don't believe so.. since it draws air for combustion through a pipe inside the exhaust pipe..this unit does not draw air from inside the building

Q: How does forced air work or conversation work? Does it requires ac?

It doesn't use electric power. It has like a metal box that heats up. The heat comes off that and rises up and out the front. It draws air up threw it when it does that. If you put a fan under it so the air gets forced up threw it, that's a big help.
