I thought about getting this for a long time, but could never really justify spending this much money on a water bowl for my dogs, so I just kept watching it and thinking about it.  Finally, it went on sale one day for a price that was closer to acceptable to me so I grabbed it and thought I would see if it is worth it.  I use this just for water at my house, which works great for us.  My sister pointed out that it looks like Darth Vader, so now I just call in the Darth water or the Vader bowl.  The design of this feeding station really does cut back on the mess.  It is very easy to assemble.  You just put the top part on the base and the bowls fit right in there.  The plastic is super smooth, so the water just beads up and rolls straight down to the drain part.  I love that it has a raised wall all around the bowls to cut back on the splashes everywhere.  My dogs were more likely to make a mess behind the bowl than they were to drool water all over the floor in front, so this has helped to keep the wall clean too!  This is also great for those mornings when I am running late for work and I need to fill the water really quick before I leave.  Typically, when that happens I make a mess and have to clean up after myself, but this bowl has my back!  All of the water that has been splashed around collects in the tray beneath the bowl.  You don't see it, so now you will just have to remember to move the top on occasion to empty it out.  Again this is easy to do.  The tray has a wide enough edge around it that you can easily carry it to the sink to dump it out without making a mess on the way there.  The smooth texture of the plastic also makes it very easy to clean.  It wipes clean very easily and really stays looking a lot nicer than I expected between cleanings.  The drain part is even pretty good about catching the dog fur so it is not mixing with the water underneath.  It does have little rubber pieces on the legs of the bowl to keep it from sliding.  I don't have it in a location where it would slide around much anyway though, so I can't say for sure how well that works.  The top of the rim in front stands about 6" off the floor, so the bowls are actually a bit lower than that.  That would be something to consider if you need more or less elevation depending on the size of your dog.  The stainless steel bowls are good quality and hold a good amount of water.  Overall, I am very happy to have this water bowl and I am glad I found it on sale.  I think it has kept the floor and walls cleaner and it looks nice in my kitchen.  If it were priced a bit lower I would recommend it to everybody.  At the current price of $47.99, I still feel it is a bit of a luxury item for my income.  However, price is relative so I rarely factor that into my reviews, so if the price is good to you I think it is a great bowl.

Three messy cats live here. They range from kitten to senior. They eat fast, they eat slow, they eat sloppy, they sometimes barf. Keeping dry food off the floor and water off the floor is a challenge. Our present home has wood floors and I purchased these to try to protect the wood from spilled water. 2 months in: very little food is getting on the floor and no water that I have seen. Very pleased. We have put all parts through the dish washer and they have come out clean and in perfect shape.

Our mini-Schnauzer had a habit over tipping the water dish. It was a concern because of being on wood floors. This water dish holder works out perfect. We had some ceramic containers that we use for the water dish which gives it even more weight. All in all, this product was our solutions to this problem.

We love the neater feeders! Because we have a messy drinker! The amount of water this thing catches, instead of our floor is truly amazing! We had one for years but wanted a new color so we got that plus the slow feeder bowl because our pup eats way too fast too! We love it and the slow feeder bowl has helped his bowels too! Nothing but good things to say about this company’s products!

My dogs are messy when drinking their water, and these bowls have helped keep the space around their bowls clean. It catches about 90% of the water they like to splash and drool, and that has helped so much. It took only about a day for them to get used to the new bowls, and now they eat and drink from them with no issues. I highly recommend!

My small dog is very sloppy, after using it the first day my floor is food and water free. The dog went over to it immediately and it is the right height for his size. I should have looked for something like this two years ago.

Our dog decided that shoving around his food bowl and flipping the water bowl were fun activities EVERY SINGLE DAY....grrrr! Our wood flooring is being destroyed and getting rid of the dog was not an option. There are food and water bowls out there with the rubber ring on the bottom to keep them in place, but this dog FLIPS them. Nothing worked and now I had a garage full of every dog bowl known to man just trying to find one he couldn't flip or shove....grrr! I had seen these bowls online before and was very skeptical when I purchased it, but I was desperate. I am so thrilled to say that we no longer have dog food and water all over the floor any more!! He can't shove or flip a single bowl!! Ha! Ha! I win! LOL

It’s a sturdy product. Exceptional value. Bought three. All the grand fur babies have one. Doesn’t look like there will be a need to replace them. If we are blessed to expand our fur baby family, I will purchase this product for it too

This is not a bad product, way overpriced but I guess you have to account for the fact its coming from the US, we have a 6 month old GSD who covers the kitchen floor when hes thirsty, this does help but in no way eliminates the mess, if you have a dog that drinks its water and hovers for a few seconds over the bowl this would be perfect, if like me you have a dog who drinks like hes been starved of water for a week and then instantly turns and walks off then you are still going to get water all over the floor, it is better than a normal bowl but its pretty expensive for something that only really helps a bit. In fairness it hasnt been flipped yet though and we've had it a while, nothing worse than the dog playing tiddly winks with his water bowl

This was brought for our German shepherd puppy (at around 6 months old). The idea of a neater / cleaner eating station sounds great, however very disappointed.The bowls can easily be picked up by a dog (which ours done frequently) & the plastic base is not as heavy / sturdy as it appeared. My dog was able to easily pick up the base & chew it.Unfortunately for us this was not a good purchase & was a waste of money.

I have had this now for several weeks and thrilled by the lack of spillage, slobber and food splattered everywhere on walls and floor from my giant mastiff. So easy to clean. It is far too low for a large dog and i suspect most people looking at this product will have a large jowelled slobberer like mine. I have put an old wooden drawer upside down underneath to elevate it (about 8 inches tall) and whilst it doesn't look pretty, does the job perfectly. Can highly recommend the product but i really think the manufacturer should join the dots and make it so it can be elevated

I use this just for water, I have a German Shepherd who normally leaves the floor soaking, this is the answer, it collects the water splashed over the sides and protects the wall behind, great purchase.

I have two very messy Labradors, water from their bowls went all over the floor. Since using this, not a drop has gone onto the floor. Its easy to clean. I think the design could be a little more stylish, but its a design that works, so im happy
