We were heading to camp for 4 weeks. We love our fish tank but didn’t know what to do while we were gone. I found this product but honestly I was expecting to come home to nothing more than fish soup. I was floored when I realized we hadn’t lost so much as a shrimp. The only issue was that the adhesive has released so the feeder fell forward. Fortunately it continued feeding. I highly recommend this product if you need an auto feeder for an extended absence. Thank you for keeping my fish alive!

Easy to use, it feed my fishes for 8 days, twice a day while on vacation

This feeder works well can be programmed for one or multiple daily feedings. I’ve used it off and on since early October with no battery changes yet. (It’s been 5+ months). I fill it with round food but the amount that comes out each time is inconsistent. I have left for 10+ days and aquarium life was fine with perhaps some mirky water from a little too much food.

I don’t know who loves it more the fish or me 😂

I’ve had it for almost a year and so far it still works. My only problem is that it’s so quiet. I wish it made a beeping sound when feeding or about to feed just to make sure it’s working properly, or make a beeping sound when it needs to get refilled. Other than that, it works good, I just had to trust its “quietness” and that it was actually feeding the fish. I found myself checking so many times until I felt comfortable going on vacation. Battery lasts a couple of months and I’ve tried both pellets and flakes and either works fine. Sometimes I only know it’s working when I see that I have to refill it with more flakes.

Hard to beat! I have this setup for my reef tank with TDS Chroma Boost pellets. I have a mix of x-small, small, and medium pellets. It’s set so it never overdoses food, if I want more food, I would just select more rotations per scheduled feeding.It’s so quiet, slow, and smooth that I don’t even hear it. At first, I kept hearing only the pellets sliding in the drum as it rotated and couldn’t figure out what the sound was…Have used for several months and I’m happy with it.Clamp and position are great.

I was going to take a week long cruise ship trip down to the Bahamas so I thought this item would be perfect for feeding my pond fish while I was gone. WRONG!! On so many levels. Although it is promoted as "waterproof", rest assured that is is not. Evidently the day after I left it absolutely poured rain and the electrical storm even knocked out the power for about four hours. Not to worry, this unit is battery powered. Guess again. The flimsy little flap door that is supposed to open and drop the pellets into the pond doesn't open, or even close, completely and the rain from the downpour totally got into the pellet container, and the pellets immediately melted totally together. So, no food was provided to the fish whatsoever. I literally had to dig out each and every pellet from the clogged container. The only good news is the resourceful fish survived by prowling the pond for goodies to eat. But when I did actually get home and fed them, it was a real food fest everywhere! The digital clock worked well, but the "waterproof" feeding system is totally flawed!Look for a better way to waste $20.
