Solid and heavy. I've gotten a smaller, leather-handled rock pick from Estwing that lasted 1 day before the handle came loose. This guy, however, feels like I could take on an army of rock-zombies and still keep chugging along. I really like the flat striking head and the enamel on the metal components.

Amazing product. I'm an iron worker and constantly use this hammer to clear off debris and chip through coal dust and rust. It's great for knocking bolts through and shockingly tough. Just don't melt the handle with a torch. I'm on my 5th one cause people keep losing our stealing it.
