The book has a story as in description but it has factual pages as well so you can learn a lot about vikings while reading the story.For example when the boy is saying how he lives on a farm there is also a double page showing how the longhouses looked like.Really good book if you are after a story but also want to learn.We are reading it to our 6yo who just visited viking festival and is quite enthusiastic to learn.

I loved this book and only really bought it for my child who covered Vikings as a topic in school. I ended up reading it twice 🤣Short chapters you can dip in or read it cover to cover. Really well written.

Purchased as requested by our grandson who is doing a lot of work on vikings at his school good price great gift.

This is a great little book for 8-12 year olds with lots of information about the Vikings. A easily read, informative book with some interesting illustrations.
