DoveMen+Care Antiperspirant Deodorant, Sensitive Shield 2.7 oz (Pack of 3)

I put it on my armpits and it works. What else can I say about it? It works. I used to use other deodorant for years and Speed Stick stopped making it. Other deodorants made my armpits turn as red as a baboon's butt and hurt really bad. Seriously, it looks like I was hiding a baboon's red but under my arms. I'd wave to people and I could hear the monkeys at the zoo down the block screaming in fear. I needed something else and I thought I'd give this brand a try. It's worked out great. My armpits currently look like human armpits and not monkey butts. Thanks Dove!(photo of armpits deleted)

The product itself is great. However, I have been purchasing this product for years and have watched the price routinely go up between purchases. Their most recent increase was by $12 or $2 per unit. I am not a fan of this behavior.

I'm an older fella and Dove always was hyper perfume and really more for my mom than myself so when I saw stuff for men my hair curled on the back of my neck lol. I have scent challenges and anything perfumey is a No-No for me.I did not realize that I had a sensitivity to some of the deodorants and had been on a trek for a while to find something that did its job but not hurt my armpits. I found this to be a very good product for my skin type and level of allergy to cleaning products and grooming products. I have used this product for 3 to 4 years now and obviously still using it. I think based on this product, Dove has done a good job of taking care of skin that is adverse to chemical toxicity.This product is a low scent product, and obviously it has a white bisque to it so you'll need to make sure to have your shirt on first and then add your deodorant as to not mar your shirt.I enjoy this product and will continue to purchase it. Pray tell they keep it available for people with my skin sensitivity.So there you have it, it's been a good product for me and I bought like five of them just to have at a grab because I have run out of them at the store and those days are done. I was an avid user of a different, much more expensive brand. My problem is that most products, even the ones that are supposed to be sensitive-skin-friendly, give me an uncomfortable rash. This one did not!There is a scent, but it is not overbearing. Given the price, I would have to say I really love this product and probably won't go back to my other brand. I bought these because the other brand was sold out.The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I disagree with the statement printed on the product that it provides "48 hour protection." For me it's much closer to 24, and I'm not really that active.Good product for the price though!

I'm a 63 year old man. I've had problems with deodorants and antiperspirants irritating my underarms nearly my entire adult life. I've used powders off and on for years which create a mess and end up leaving dust everywhere in my entire house. I never really realized just how much until I stopped using the powder. So when I heard about Dove Men+Care Sensitive Shield I had to give it a try. I couldn't be happier. It's effective. It doesn't leave white streaks on my clothes, I like the scent which really isn't very strong at all. The price I found here on Amazon was the best price I found anywhere. So what's not to like? I won't use anything else.
