The glass is crystal clear and the pedestal is very stable and has some nice detail to it. Right sized as a desk display piece - about 8 inches tall - and would go well in a display cabinet or shelf as well. The hourglass has some heft to it so it would make a great paperweight. The flowing blue sand is soothing to look at.The gift box box and packaging are nicely done.Overall, super happy with this. We bought one and liked it so much that my wife decided to get several more as gifts for her work.
