Great addition to Lego set
Excellent addition to the Lego set. Highly recommend. Turns the Lego set into a beautiful ornament which looks lovely on display.

Excellent product and superb customer service!
Excellent product and customer service! I accidentally damaged one of the wires when I was finishing off the build and was gutted as 2 lights stopped working. However, I contacted customer service and they happily sent me a replacement free of charge and it arrived in just over a week. My build is now finished and looks awesome! Would recommend! A++ (photos to come soon!)

Fiddly but looks great.
The product is designed specifically for this lego set. The LEDs are set into lego bricks so it is easy to add them to the set itself. Where the fiddly element comes in is dismantling parts of the set to hide and trail the wires. There are step by step instructions for this process that can be a little confusing to follow, but do show the thought the manufacturer has put in. You can definitely hide the wires better than I did, as I got a bit impatient half way through and started doing my own thing rather than following the instructions! This wouldn't be recommended for children as it is hard to put together. The lights are bright when powered by USB and look effective. The only problem is the USB cables are on the same side as the opening to the building on the model, so you can either display the back of the model and hide the cables, or display the front and see all the cables. It still looks pretty and overall I'm happy. Just be aware it is a bit fiddly.

Didn’t work
Lovely lights. At first I thought they weren’t working properly but then realised it was because one of my batteries was an old one and not enough power was reaching the lights. They worked fine once I replaced the battery. The instruction manual is really hard to follow so I had to work it out myself, but other than that I’m very pleased.

Instructions not very intuitive
I love lightailing products I own 3 of them already for my star wars lego sets. So I was surprised when I found the instructions for this particular set very hard to follow. Even more disappointing there wasn't an accompanying tutorial video like they have for there other lighting kits. I've kept the product in the hope they do a video for this kit in the future. Which I hope they do, I spent nearly 2 hours trying to install the kit and felt like I got nowhere. If you read this lightailing, you need to improve the paper guide and do an accompanying tutorial video please?

Looks amazing! The instruction manual was a bit overwhelming at first but I found a quick video on the companies YouTube channel and it made the world of a difference! I definitely plan to buy more lighting kits from this company.
