Beautiful and functional. Some might think it looks cheap but for the price point, I think it's a steal and a great bargain. It is particleboard with a beautiful finish, and the actual shelf poles are plastic. I appreciate that each piece is the same. All you have to know is the little stumps go on the bottom to screw the poles in, and then when you stack the shelves, the top ones have the little screw-in flat finials. No confusing instructions. No allen wrenches. The thickness of it makes it look like it's metal rods, and it feels just as sturdy. I wouldn't lean on it. I do currently have my TV on it as it is a newer model and prob weighs under 20 lbs. The weight is evenly distributed and it's holding it like a champ. I put my Wii, (yes I live in 2008 in my head) and my Playstation and VHS player underneath it for a nice cheap entertainment center that I can also store my dolls on. I love it! It makes the room look complete! Eventually I will get some shelves to put on either side and I will likely go with Furinno again. Never stop creating such affordable and shippable pieces for people with needs like me!

This may not be fancy or great quality furniture, but it is very sturdy, very inexpensive, looks great for what it is, and for someone who can’t afford anything in this rediculous economy, it makes life easier. I’m beyond happy and will continue to purchase these products for as long as I need them. Plus, I’m a newly single woman who is in her late 50’s, and I live in an apartment that is upstairs. I also have a small car now and can’t get furniture up the stairs on my own or get furniture to fit in my vehicle. It’s very convenient having these small boxes delivered right to my apartment door so I can easily drag it inside and get it put together and store my stuff. I utilize Amazons free delivery to my door as often as possible.
