adidaswomens Supernova + Black/Silver Metallic/Blue Oxide 5.5

Not worth the price
I got these in my usual 6.5 but they felt at least a half size too big. I could have probably gone down a full size but I decided not to replace since the quality was just not there. These shoes seem to be mostly made of foam and some other cheap material I couldn't identify. They have a mesh upper which I liked, but my feet felt hot after trying on with my thin workout socks. I purchased these hoping to replace a pair of Nike fly knits that lasted 5 years of walking and hiking, but I doubt these would have held up even half that time. Back to Nikes I go!

Already Wearing Out...
Disappointed in these shoes. The fit was a bit wonky. I had to go up half a size over my usual, but that wasn't a big deal. What is a big deal is that I took these shoes on their first run of 30 minutes and there's already a spot where the shoes have worn out. That wear pattern isn't unusual for me, it just doesn't happen until I've gotten some use out of the shoes. Now I'm concerned that they'll fall apart before I get a decent amount of mileage in them.

Usually an asics girl, but..
I exclusively wear asics but when I saw these on a killer price I had to try them out. As someone who works in the fitness industry im on my feet ALOT so comfort is key. These have a nice, almost memory form cushion, they're for neutral foot position. Bottom traction is minimal, so I wouldn't recommend these for outdoor training.

Way Too Small
I've never flat out struck out on running shoes from Adidas, until I purchased these. They run WAY too small. Had to send them back, ordered up a 1/2 size and still too small.

Ordered 7 1/2, seemed like an 8 or 8 1/2
These were WAY longer than I expected. I last wore 7 1/2 in running shoes in Nike, and wear mostly a 7 Wide in regular shoes, but these Adidas were huge. There was maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inches of room left in the toe box past my big toe, and they were plenty wide enough.I had previously had some Adidas shoes I loved, because they were so comfortable and supportive, plus they were wide enough, and magically didn’t have me end up with horrible shin splints as all the rest had. I should have bought as many of them as I could, so that when they finally gave out I wasn’t stuck with all these inferior attempts at replacements. I didn’t think they were a size 6 1/2. Maybe a 7?Anyway, maybe these just run ridiculously big. They seemed somewhat cushiony, but supportive. These probably would have been nice if sized correctly. Most likely they’d be better for treadmill running or indoors than outside anything much, because the soles don’t seem like they are made for outside traction or durability. But I don’t know for sure, since they are too long, and I don’t know if I will try again in a smaller size. I only intended to use them primarily for supportive shoes for walking outdoors and prolonged standing, hopefully without getting any shin splints and back, hip, and knee pain.

Way too big
Super cute but I think possibly mislabeled in factory cause they said woman’s but they were clearly Men’s size.

Fantastic!
I bought these for the intention of having another running shoe, but in all honesty, the Signal Pink color is what really lured me in. They are beyond bright making them both eye catching and hopefully safer for those early morning runs. I bought a size seven which is my normal size in Adidas and they fit perfectly. I can honestly say they were comfortable on the first wear and didn't leave me with any lingering foot pains either. For any of you that don't mind standing out in a crowd, I would recommend this particular shoe for you. Definite winner!

Comfy, springy, happy
Great, classic Adidas Supernovas. If you have loved Supernovas, you'll love this model. I use them for both exercise and active wear (walking the dog, etc.) - they're springy, there is room in the toe box to wiggle your toes, and they're holding up great. As I said, classic Adidas Supernovas.

Inferior
I have owned about 6-8 pairs of Supernovas and loved them. The design of this one looked different, but I assumed it would be quite similar based on the name, so I ordered them. Apparently I was wrong. There’s very minimal cushion, a band around the foot that feels weird, and the tongue is thin instead of padded. I haven’t bothered running in them because even walking feels uncomfortable. Bring back the old Supermovas!
