Good heater but not complete and not quite ready for production.
I really needed one of these Patio heaters and was glad to have found this one.I open the box and laid everything out. It appeared that everything was there so I started the assembly. The very first step was to bolt on the wheels and hold down brackets and the first problem was they forgot to drill any of the holes for this step. Upon closer inspection (I am in the assembly business) I saw the whole outer surface was dented. This is the main 'show' surface of this part, so I assume the plant saw this and decided to scrap it but someone else finished the rest of the subassembly, skipping that step.In any case, I had a decision to make right then and there. Do I pack up and send it back or continue?Note: It is January in Michigan. It is -1 degree Fahrenheit. I have a ton of work to do outside. I can easily drill my own holes for this.I decided to continue. The rest of the build went fine. Instructions are perfect. No issues with them.It literally took me longer to peel off the protective film than the whole rest of the assembly. In total about 1/2 hour.As you can see from the picture of the unboxed items, there seems to be a lot but it's fairly straight forward and the alignment of the holes that they did put in was very good. That said, when you have the 3 support bars on, take the time to eyeball there alignment as you tighten the bolts. There is quite a bit of tolerance and can affect the sliding on of the cover which is the the next step. The actual burner unit was perfect and operated without any issues. The picture of the heat-on was only about 15 seconds and you need to hold the knob down for 10 seconds to warm it up so the auto switch doesn't shut it down. That, I believe is standard on all of these type of heaters.Note: the protective film stays on during the rolling of the edges so it is impossible to remove all of it under the edge bead. For this reason there will be a bad smell for the first 5 or 10 minutes of operation. It is outside so, not really a big issue. There was one of the small washers missing and when I was searching my parts bins for a replacement I found a coin that I got on one of my trips to China. I couldn't resist using it to create a conversation accent to my new heater. :)Pros:Excellent heat.Easy to assembleEasy to move around once the wheels are installed.Cons:Higher price than competing heater with the same output. (update: they quickly brought the price down to be comparable to others).Factory still working out assembly issues so check all parts first.I do like this heater but hope they fix there current issues.Update: I have been using this for a few weeks now. Yes, it had some minor issues but I like it.I hope this review was helpful

Excellent propane heater
I now have this on my covered porch as we are experiencing a winter storm. I have an outdoor cat who does have a house on the porch to get into, but with this propane heater on, she has warmth surrounding her little house. I also have one of those shields for this heater to concentrate the heat in a smaller circumference (instead of 360 degrees, more like 180 degrees). It does roll well on the wheels which makes it great to move around my porch/backyard. Now, I don't have a 20 pound propane tank as I have trouble lifting it by myself (I mean when filled, out of my car). I have an 11 pound tank instead. I used some cardboard to cushion my smaller tank inside this heater - it works fine. I'm very happy to have this heater - especially right now so my outdoor kitty can remain warm during this winter storm.

Very mid-line
I think it goes without saying this wasn't ready to go straight out of the box. My Dad is a bit of a handyman, so we were able to figure things out after two runs to the hardware store, but now that it's up and running we're quite happy. My main reason for knocking off a star is the base just wasn't as stable as I'd hoped. The unit as a whole is much more lightweight than I expected, but the base also doesn't sit properly on concrete. We threw a rubber sheet in between it to balance things out. The heat output it great, aesthetic is decent as well - a little rough around the edges.

Not as solid as expected
What I like:It puts out good heatquiet operationfunctions properlyrelatively straightforward assembly directionsWhat I like less:There are anchor spots on the base - would work well on wood or maybe ground, but not as stable on concrete.base arrived bent (see photos)Hesitant to leave it outside with any wind until we get a more secure systemBottom line - this thing cranks out the heat and looks nice. Need to work on securing/stabilizing
