Yes this will work very well in your front High pinion Dana 30. You would need a different locker for the rear Dana 35 in your YJ but i would personally not put an auto locker in it. You will break the dana35 easily. if you really want a locker for the rear - consider swapping the axle for a ford 8.8 or even a dana 44 out of a waggoneer

Will this fit my 2007 Jeep Unlimited with Dana 44 rear axle with no additional shims or parts?

Yes this should fit in your 44 using the same shims you already have in there. This will pop considerably on pavement in your rear diff. I have it in my front and it behaves like an open diff when in 2wd. It locks up in 4wd and becomes stiffer to steer but climbs rocks much better. I have the D-30 front.

Does this locker make noise on tight turns?

Yes, all lunch box type lockers make a clicking noise on turns. On slow tight turns you may occasionally hear and feel a loud banging. I have this locker in my front D30 and while turning into a parking space I turn slowly and don't accelerate while doing this type of turning. As others have said, it's normal.
