IF you're a "down to the last tip of your finger" (and give it up to the mandolin like I did) person before you start using the "pusher" tool with your flat, treacherous and hangry mandolin, you'll love this one. It's sturdy, offers variable cuts, easy to clean, and best of all, doesn't allow my now scarred fingertips anywhere near the blades. I beat my husband to the punch by acquiring this little angel before he popped chain mail gloves on me--so now I can forego the armor in my medieval kitchen and slice on safely.

My husband has a kitchen gadget problem. If it’s a gadget and you can use it for cooking, he must have it. We have had mandolins off and on. I keep throwing them out every time someone slices the tip of a finger. No worries with this gem! It has safety features to help keep all fingers intact!!

Flimsy plastic crap. The feeding tube cracked on the first use. It didn’t break from the small carrot I was going to slice, but from the plunger provided with this flimsy cheaply made plastic junkDo not buy!

Durability! Plastic funnel cracked after first use! Otherwise ok.

I wanted to love this, but did not. Second use it cracked when trying to slice an onion which I cut into small sections. I then decided to wash it in dishwasher prior to returning it and the small case came out of dishwasher (top rack) distorted from the heat so lid would never fit again. Disappointing product.
