Spirit

Bought to replace older Cardo units, I have since purchased two of these. Much better quality sound from the headphone speakers than the older model, and good quality mics. Good buttons to use with gloves. As usual it takes a while to remember how to pair up and communicate with your pillion but once connectted it is stable and reliable. Just used a pair for the first time on a 5 hour trip up the motorway on a Harley, and it was clear and loud communication at speed for both of us, no wind or engine noise being transmitted via the mics. Sharing music works via Bluetooth, but you can't talk over the top of music without 'calling' your pillion, which stops the music, then you have to start the music sharing again, then it stops when you need to talk etc etc, so the constant switching between these modes with a pillion is not worth it, either have it set to intercom or music. It can also pair to a sat nav, but I used my phone and Waze sat nav, and the direction instructions from the phone came through while in intercom mode, and I guess it would work listening to Spotify music via Waze, as long as I'm not trying to share music to my pillion as well. Good battery life on this first trip, at least 5 hours, so pleased with them both at this price. Only thing that concerns me is the Cardo warranty seems to say it is not valid if bought on online marketplace or auction sites, so hopefully it doesn't fail during the warranty period.

Clear,strong battery, long lasting, easy to use and fit. I couldn't have asked for better.

Used this for a few weeks now. Really easy to fit with some great YouTube videos to take you through it. Took about 20 mins. Sound quality is good for music. Works well for calls I haven’t tried the intercom part so can’t advise.

Overall good product. However where the spirit falters is in the 32mm speakers. There is a lack of customisation of sound profiles, The speakers are good at in the mids if that’s what you are into but lacks the punch in bass and rattles at higher volumes with Highs. Overall if you’re not too fussed about High end bass then you should be all good.

Very good price and the sound from it is very good easy to use have not had a problem with battery life used all day music and sat nav on good quality I think its the best thing I've bought for my travels on my bike very happy 😊.

But if you are more than approx 100 meters apart you can’t hear the other person. Sound and clarity is great if you are pillion to rider. Such a shame the distance isn’t as good as the old cardos we had, you could be half a mile apart as long as there’s no trees and still speak to the other rider.. feel a bit let down by Cardo..

worth it, sound quality is amazing and overall easy to use and setup. quality is amazing due to its durability i have crashed twice since buying this on my motorbike and not even a scratch. its such a sleek design and looks amazing. in conclusion if you're looking for a safe and easy to use healmet speakers the cardo spirit is for you be safe out there riders

I first want to point out that it is not the seller's fault, but the whole purchase went very smoothly and the product arrived on time, but I bought a Cardo Spirit DUO to replace my old motorcycle intecom in the hope that my wife and I can ride a motorcycle together and listen to music while riding while still being able to talk if/when needed. I have checked the specification of this device (Spirit DUO) and according to descriptions, it should be possible to share music and at the same time be able to have the intercom running. Now I've sat and tried everything but can't manage to share the music from my mobile via Spirit No.1 with my wife's Spirit No.2 while intecom is running. I can share the music but as soon as I activate the intercom the music sharing is interrupted and I can talk to her via the intercom and to return to the music sharing I have to deactivate the intercom. I thought that the music sharing and the intercom would work simultaneously and switch automatically depending on whether there is a call on the intercom that is prioritized otherwise the music sharing takes over. I think it is very dangerous to keep on and switch between music sharing and intercom when riding a motorcycle

Cardo funktioniert ohne Kopfschmerzen zerursachen mit jeder erdenklichen Marke, selbst wenn die noch so weit aus Fern Ost kommen. Die Kabellänge und Qualität ist für eine Helminnenverlegung überdurchschnittlich bemessen, da kann sich Parani von Sena eine große Scheibe von Abschneiden, da dieses sofort aufgrund der zu kurzen Kabel zurück ging. Die App ist gut durchdacht und lässt auch ein Limitieren der einzelnen Lautstärken zu, damit man weder eine Navigations- noch Sprachansage verpasst. Ebenso werden Hintergrundgeräusche, wie Musik bei einer Sprachkommunikation gedämpft. Eine Teilung der Musik zu seinem Gesprächspartner ist möglich, verhindert aber jeder eine Sprachkommunikation. Auch die Lautsprecher sind dem Preisentsprechend überdurchschnittlich und je nach Helm auch unfassbar Laut und Basslastig. Auch wenn man mit Zwei gleichen Geräten nur einen Gesprächspartner Koppeln kann, so kann man sich auch mit Insgesamt 4 Leuten verbinden, welche Zwei weitere Partner dazwischen sind die einen B Kanal haben. Wir sind insgesamt sehr zufrieden und werden, sofern ein wechsel auf eine höherwertige Produktreihe ansteht, gerne wieder bei Cardo kaufen.
