Women's Triangular Belly Dancing Hip Scarf Wrap Skirt with Gold Coins

I love this coin skirt - holy moly, so beautiful. The base fabric is thick and velvety, which gives it a very nice weight for belly dancing. The coins are well-sewn, durable and attached in such a pretty ripple pattern.I particularly like the multi-colored “gems” along the top edge - my belly dancing outfits are mostly black and gold so I love the interesting contrast for extra flair. To note: one of the “gems” did fall off when I opened the package, but I was able to sew it right back on, no problem.The gold threading is also well done and appears to be pretty durable. Size-wise, it fits me well. For reference, I am 5’5” 158lbs, size 8. I wear it slung to the side. Thanks to the velvety material and nice ties, it stays put and I do not have to readjust it - it doesn’t loosen like sheer fabrics.This is a great piece at a wonderful price. Very glad I bought it!

It's very pretty! Has a few loose string that can get cut off easily with scissors, its slightly heavy, jingles nicely, and material is about medium thickness. If your using it for a costume piece then it's gonna be a really nice addition to the costume. I've seen some hella janky things when comes to costume pieces. This is a beautiful 5 star accessory compared to some. Now let's talk if you are looking for somthing for legit belly dancing, this piece would then become mid- to lower range quality. Since when being an actual dancer, you will need somthing that will last more then a few time use. That's when things get pricey if you want better quality.

So yes, there is a chemical smell, but I guess that's a common thing with these scarfs because I got a different brand and it also smells. However, the material is nice and has a soft feel, the scarf itself is pretty and I like it.

The skirt is the black and gold top layered hip scarf one on left. It was a bit shorter than expected but still nice. The row of colored jewels at waistline made it sturdy enough to easily pin a second longer triangular layer under it (totally separate piece and not a part of the black hip scarf in this order). Lots of coins but did not jingle as loudly as I would have liked based on the nicer of coins. Overall satisfied with quality and features; would recommend. The pink scarf on right was borrowed from a friend - unrelated to my review.

I’ve been wearing it to belly dance class and received a lot of compliments! I only wish it’s bigger and longer! I’m a size 8/10 in pants and the decorative coin part of the scarf only cover 3/4 of my hip circumference! I’m not thin but I’m not by any means a big girl either!! Other than that, it’s a really nice hip scarf!!

Well made and beautifully decorated but very very small. I wear size 8-10 and It fits more like a narrow short belt than anything else. There is not enough material and coins to meet at the knot. To fit like the other dancers in my class, it needs about seven inches more of material and coins. Also, it doesn’t cover the bum.. Unfortunately, the picture is not representative of the product as it looks much longer and wider. I think that if I had to order another one, I would receive a product with different dimensions. Luck of the draw maybe?

I love this. I got it for Halloween and it's made really good, I can wear it for a few more years, if not more. Halloween was on a Wednesday this year, so my mom decides she want's to go and I told her I was dressed as a Gypsy but if she wanted to go I would go with her. I sat in the very back so no one would see me good, well I should have known that wasn't going to happen. The wife (she is disabled) of the one who was speaking that night, got my attention to take a bottle of water up front to her husband (she couldn't turn all the way around to see me), I said are you sure you want me to do it? of course she said. So here I am (not many go on Wednesday night) walking up to the front to take the water to her husband, I jingled all the up and back, I disrupted the whole service cause everyone was laughing. But.. they all loved the outfit they said after church was over.... So I will buy it again if I need another one.

Great value for money, it is exactly what it's supposed to be. I was looking into specialist belly dance stores and the prices were 10 times up.
