Perfect size to make a hole in leather to make earrings & bracelets.

The front/top looks ok BUT the back/bottom is a sharp shard of metal that easily will tear anything it touches or rubs against. Ok for a craft that will sit and not be handled or touched like maybe a Christmas ornament that is touched at edges, but not good for paper craft or projects like bookbinding/making journals. Waste of money.

-I returned these because when they're installed (I use a Crop-A-Dile), the back splits badly creating many sharp edges. For my purposes, namely, product packaging, this renders them absolutely unusable.

Got some to experiment on materials and once I got "how to", works just fine. Tried resin paper and would not work as good, leather does just fine, even thin snake leather, the pics are snake and lizard different thickness. I had Not tried on fabrics, just exotic leathers and some on copper sheet metal 24 and 22 gauges as accents, worked fine in both. Be nice when hammering the back, just few taps to enlarge the hole and then hammer it flat or it will probably split.

These arrived in a separate shipment! I was waiting to finish a project only to find they are really poor quality… They splinter on the back and leave very sharp jagged edges! Totally a wasted purchase!
