I had hoped they weren't as bad as some reviews suggested, boy was I wrong
When plugged into my Netgear MS510TXPP I get power but no ethernet at all. When plugged into a passive PoE injector I get power and Gigabit ethernet, but some errors when pushing the connection hard.Looking through the RJ45 plugs, the conductor size does not look great and it looks like the potting compound has oozed right into the plug which I do wonder if this has impaired the connection.

2 amps my @#$%
Tried powering a TP-Link router that was supplied with a 12V 1.5A adapter (so 18 watts max...). The Anvision adapter kept resetting each time the router tried to boot. (remember the Anvision adapter claims to supply 24 Watts)Tried the same router with a TP-Link TL-PoE10R (which is only rated to supply 12V 1A (12 Watts)) and it powered up fine.I'd send them back, but have found a use for them elsewhere.

Too weak for PoE+ 24W or more
I tested this splitter with a 12V 1A consumer (12W) and the splitter performs well, but when i tried to use it with a 27W rated device it just does not work and causes an error. The 27W device is working well with another af and even with an at splitter (24W and 12W) so it seems like during the powering up this splitter is not able to deliver the maximum current of 2A and operate properly. My recommendation is to be cautious and use this splitter only with devices having less then 20W maximum consumption. For real PoE+ consumers (up to 30W max) i would recommend other splitters, probably one with multiple output voltages.

Not up to the task.
I bought this splitter because I was in a rush and wish I had done more research. This is simply a low quality POE splitter. It cannot supply even close to the full 2A as specified. Also struggles to connect at Gb, often dropping back to 100Mb. There are much better options available for the same price such as the PS5712TG which can be purchased from many suppliers including HKBTM.

Not true Gigabit ... works, but severely impacted throughput
This adapter does provide 12V power, but expect to get about 100mbps reliable throughput. This adapter doesn't seem to be fully gigabit certified. I tried different cables, switch ports, devices, etc. and the max throughput is around 100mbps even though the link was established at 1gbe.
