So far, so good
I've used a mattress heater for years; I cannot stand icy sheets when I get into bed. I don't need the bed to be hot or even warm throughout the night but I don't want that icy edge. I use a mattress heater to heat up the bed and I keep it on low during the night, in the winter.I put this on immediately since my old pad was having issues. I heated it up an hour or so ahead of time, on the 3rd highest setting, then put it on Warm, the lowest setting, for the night. This was perfect. I'll try for a shorter period and lower initial setting tonight and I think it will be fine.One different thing is the controls are two individual cords; all the pads I've had are connected which is actually a pain when you're setting it up as you have to make sure you're winding it the right way. This model's plugs are on each side of the pad, not one connection in the middle of the bottom of the pad. I think I like it like this. I will say the light on the controls illuminates too much so I dropped them to the floor. That would be inconvenient if I had to adjust the setting during the night but I don't need to. If you don't like too much illumination and need to adjust, you'll have to get used to it. If I needed to, I probably could.Great price and good product so far.

Warms up fast and warm setting keeps me nice and warm
We are camping in NH and it is in the 30’s right now at night. We turn it on an hour before bed and then I turn mine down to warm and hubby likes medium. We don’t need to run the heat until morning.

This was the best thing I have gotten in a long time my bedroom is in the basement which gets cold I always had to sleep in sweats no more this keeps me nice and toasty

Worth the purchase
This pad has been working great for us on a camping trip for our air mattress. We have used it for 3 nights thus far and it has kept us very warm. Highly recommend.
