Wonderful Animals, Great Communication with seller
The media could not be loaded. My first ever roach died a few months ago, and it was so heartbreaking to me, as he was an amazing part of my family. I wanted a new family member from a good Breeder. I spoke to 4 different breeders and only HoneyBees100 talked to me and was so fast and wonderful about everything down to timing, communication about questions, and making my custom order. I was afraid of having a quick lifespan so it was important for me to get babies. He sent me the species I wanted, and all were the correct gender, and in great health. Packaging was effective and cute with a shiny paper on the inside, which was such a nice touch. The only thing is that I would have wanted it marked better that it had live animals. Shane was the first Breeder to include a small piece of carrot and that was great to keep them fed and hydrated without risk of damage for their week long trip to me. He sent me two older nymphs which are now adults, as they have had final molts, which was great as babies stay with mom until they are 6 months. Nymphs took to their new moms within minutes and everyone got along really well. (roach mamas adopt other babies if needed). Everyone has been eating, no impactions, and all have shining personalities. I only lost one roach, due to I think exposure to something when she got out for a couple hours, or maybe impaction, but the others are still very healthy. I have been able to handle all of them and Chestnut, my second youngest has really bonded with me (the one in the blanket). 3/5 molted and are right on track. Juniper, who is very spirted is gorgeous to watch and today let me handle her, which I never thought would happen. All are very fast learners because of their health. Thank you so much for Juniper, Chestnut, Hazel, Ruby, and Hera. Even if Ruby is no longer with us, she had a nice funeral in my rose garden by the beach and I am so grateful for Shane's willingness to talk, answer questions and be patient and polite with my antics. Would never want another Breeder!I got a wide horn and a halloween nymph female and he sent me two extra wide horns and an extra halloween. Best communication EVER from a Breeder.

" Happily, the package was small enough that it fit ...
I was worried about having a live animal shipped thru the mail, but then I reminded myself---it's a cockroach. You know----that whole story about Keith Richards and cockroaches being the only things to survive a nuclear holocaust? Nevertheless, I watched the tracking from work all day and it arrived by the 8pm deadline (at 5pm). Also---there seems to be a "package thief" who's getting in our building and (the day after I ordered my new pet) there were notices posted everywhere warning us to "require a signature" or have packages delivered elsewhere till "the perp" was caught. So I'm also thinking, "I hope no one steals my cockroach!" And then... “But if they do, I think that's the end to the problem of the package thief!”But I spent my whole day at work telling all my co-workers that I was "waiting for my roach" and then... "Yay! My roach has been delivered!""What are you gonna name him?""Um...I don't know. I'll wait till I see him." Happily, the package was small enough that it fit into my mailbox. But I was surprised when I opened the mailbox and saw a package wrapped up in plastic. What??? How is this little guy supposed to breathe? As I went upstairs in the elevator, I noticed the tiny holes that had been punched into the plastic. And when I got in my apartment and opened the plastic bag, saw the tiny holes that had been punched into the cardboard. I was SO worried about this little guy and had a habitat for him all ready and VERY CAREFULLY used a blade to cut the tape on the box and opened the lid... Underneath some strips of paper, I saw two antennae feeling the air. I have to admit, I was both repulsed and charmed. And that's when I said, "Mr. Darcy!"It's been three nights now and Mr. Darcy (who was correctly sexed as a male) loves his new home and particularly likes organic apples and peanut butter! My ONLY complaint is that the description mentioned that I would get a sample of their "roach chow". There was no roach chow. But Mr. Darcy obviously had been enjoying the piece of carrot he was shipped with as it was down to a nub. Tho my co-workers are going to be disappointed because they thought it was amusing that I kept saying, "And they're sending a sample of roach chow." They love me, but think I'm a little cray-cray. Nevertheless, I'm still giving this seller 5 stars because I am SO enamored with Mr. Darcy! Safe transport was less than a fortnight and he is quite welcome in polite society! Yours truly, Elizabeth

def good specimines for starting a breeding colony
the female died two days after putting her in the enclosure, but this may have been due to the stress of shipping and the changing weather. the male is still going strong.
