Fun for the whole family!
The cars were up on Amazon's deal of the day and I could not resist with 2 grandchildren ages 3 1/2 and 2. The description was that it can move with or without the use of pedals, just by moving the steering wheel, with little new technology, the little car moves very easily, and can take up to 200 pounds. Well, my 15 year old, 180 pound son put the car together with a hammer, and got on it. Surprisingly, it worked! You can turn on a dime with this thing, so light and so responsive. I bought 2 more that day! The cars were $34 each and I saved them for Christmas. Grandkids, teenagers, and adults were quickly racing around the house! Great ride for everyone! The more you ride it, the faster it gets, for some reason. Now my little grandson can zoom around, using his feet to push, while my granddaughter can do both with or without feet. Do not expect anything high tech. The cars are plastic with metal bolts. They can be inside or outside. I have tiled floors and the cars are great on tile. Do not use them if you are over 40 pounds on hard wood. You will make grooves that won't recover. Kids can bump into each other in a regular speed without getting injured. the engineering for possible collisions is excellent. If your child likes to crash into things around the house, not so great. You may need to put bumpers on the cars. But all in all, well worth the little money and can last for years and everyone can ride them.

A long time family favorite
We decided to purchase this for a 3-year-old nephew, based on the longevity of the one we've had for about six years. My son got it when he was four, he just turned ten and will still go out in the garage or driveway and ride around. It can take kids a few minutes to get the hang of it, you make small forward and back movements (maybe about 15 degrees) with the steering wheel in order to start moving. If you turn it all the way around like a steering wheel, you'll spin but you won't move forward. I don't think anyone it going to travel long distances on it, but it's been in our driveway, garage and short distances down the street regularly since we got it. We did use it indoors for a while, not good on carpeting, and it didn't seem to damage our wood floors, although they recommend you not use it on wood floors for that reason. As soon as it went outside it became a permanent outdoor toy since the wheels got a little chewed up on the driveway and road and I'm sure it would scratch up the floors now. It's very durable, has been ridden by people of all sizes, even over 200lbs, and hasn't been a problem. My son is now over 5 feet tall so he has to bend his knees up a bit, but it's worth it to keep driving. A good purchase for us, years of fun.

kids LOVE this car
I purchased this car for my nephew's third birthday. He's a VERY active boy with LOTS of extra energy to burn, so I wanted to get him an action toy. This "wiggle car" was the PERFECT choice. BUT there's one thing that potential purchases need to consider: do you have easy access to at least one "road-like" long flat stretch of land or floor? If not, maybe you should pick a different toy. Here's some great ideas for places to ride this toy: a lovely long driveway or car park area, if you have one; a parking lot off-hours; the indoor walkways of a shopping mall, early in the morning before the shoppers start running around; a local bicycle path, either paved or a flat dirt road. You get the idea. YES almost any grown-up can ride one of these cars too -- any reasonably flexible adult who weighs less than two hundred thirty pounds can zoom around on this car and it is so fun to ride it. If you check out YouTube videos about the PlasmaCar, you'll see parents racing their kids on the wiggle cars. I can't think of too many things that sound like more fun that that.

Fun ride on
Grandkids loved it. Definite learning curve . I only gave 4 stars because it wasn't made as well a different brand I had purchased in the past for another gift.

Perennial gift favorite
This is my Go-To gift for a child 2-4 years of age. It is more approachable than a trike because it has a wider seat and sits lower to the ground. Very young recipients may initially use it as a walking support and grow more comfortable pushing with their feet while sitting on it before they finally get the hang of the motion to drive it forward. It's lightweight enough for most toddlers to pull or push. It's sturdy enough for a small adult or teen to ride. I have given 6 of these to different families over the years, and a 7th to the same family again so the kids could "race". It is always the toy they rave about for years. I have not heard of one failing yet. The price point is an excellent value for the quality.Assembly requires a literate adult, and possibly the use of a mallet if that adult is not particularly strong. It all comes packed ready to assemble and in 3 steps you're ready to ride!

Great Toy, Great Color
Today I jazzed this Lime green Original PlasmaCar with lime striped ribbons and a trio of helium balloons and presented it to our Grandson for his 3rd Birthday. He was all smiles and dancing around as he hopped on , trying to get the hang of driving. "Here let me show you ",said his Dad as he climbed aboard and took off around the family room. "No, Andy, I'll show him said his Mom, confiscating it. "You've almost got it" said Grandpa, there's a little trick to it" he said as he stepped in front of Mom's ride and took over. "Cut it out, give the poor boy his present will you, he can do this !" I said to Grandpa. I knew this because I had tried it before putting it in the car to head for the party. " Wiggle the wheel back and forth, there, you've got it " I said to our Birthday Boy. Off he went . "I can doood it !" he said.He doood it. You can doood it too. This lime green PlasmaCar is strong, a lot of fun and kind of reminds me of some kind of carrier from the Starship Enterprise. Highly recommended.
