Exactly what I imagined!
I've been suffering from green tea for some time now. The really good ones (think Twinnings) are very expensive; the affordable ones have artificial flavors (think Lipton and Tetley); while the really affordable ones (loose-leaf) taste horrible. I even tried some delicate blends such as green tea and cranberries, but overall it was money wasted as those delicate teas become bitter if brewed for even a few seconds longer.I was skeptical of lemon grass, to be honest. I knew it was used with black tea but wasn't sure just how much aroma and flavor it'd carry. I mean, I didn't want to pay just to boil and drink grass that I can find everywhere around me!I'm so glad that I made this decision! Lemon grass seems perfect for my use case: aromatic, tasty, and zero caffeine! Even a few tiny blades boiled in some water release a mild, pleasant color (please see the pic), and the taste has clear lemon in it. Overall, the combination is very refreshing! I read somewhere that lemon grass also cools down the body, so those who're experiencing heat in their body (as per Ayurveda's concepts) will find it soothing.Maybe the price is too much for 100 grams of "grass", but if I compare the money I've been wasting on green tea, I have no regrets. In fact, next time I'll order 3-4 boxes in one go and store them!

Tons of benefits of lemon grass. I mix it in my green tea. And refrigerate for 2 hours- tastes good.Freshness- you can smell when you open the jar.
