SSKZ5 Craftsman Outfield Baseball Glove – Deep Pocket 12.25" - 12.5” - 12.75” – Right & Left Hand Throw

This is fantastic glove for $100, very well made. Right out the package, a little Nokona conditioner and was playing catch without any real break in. The leather is soft, and the glove fits my large hand well (I wear a XXL golf glove). I still have my first SSK DPG-350 that’s over 30 years old, I can’t seem to part with it. Surprisingly the Z5 appears to be SSKs lowest quality glove with the Z7 and Z9 being higher priced gloves. I haven’t seen those gloves in person but considering the quality of the Z5 I can only imagine they are very high quality. When my kid is ready for an upgrade he will be getting a SSK as well.

I really wanted to like this glove after reading the top review. This glove is hands down better quality than any American made glove in the same price range. The leather is beautiful and stitching is top notch. The quality of this glove is amazing but it is not game ready as far the break in. It would take quite some time to break in and the palm is only a thin layer of leather between you and the ball. My son is only 13 but he can throw some heat and after a few fast balls I had it. I switched back to my old glove that had a little more padding to protect my hand. I'm in the market still and will check out what SSK has to offer in other gloves. I'm completely sold on this brand but perhaps a more expensive model will provide a little more protection for the palm. I'm not a P$%^Y btw. I'm a veteran and raised in Brooklyn. I can handle pain but I like to avoid it when I can and this is one thing I can definitely avoid.

THE SSK Z5 😍It has an incredible out-of-the-box feel that immediately brought me back to my youth when I put on my own first pair of deer skin work gloves as a boy in East Idaho. Perfect leather that was strong and capable yet also soft and velvety to the touch. It felt ready to go to work and begin earning the perfect fit.It has the answers to the crazy random wishlist glove features you may have thought about right before you heard the crack of the bat and begin the adrenaline filled chase down in the outfield for a catch but I’ll let you find them out for yourself.I bet with how I’ve described this glove so far I know those of you who are left still reading this are probably wondering “Why isn’t this glove on every retailer’s shelf and in every outfielder’s bag?”The answer? I don’t know. But what I do know is that everyone who plays the game of baseball or plays in the local adult city slow pitch softball league and loves all forms of baseball, deserves a chance to experience the unboxing and the first hand inser……..experience of this incredible glove. It gives you that instant knowledge of lifelong work you’ll do on the field together. You don’t even question it. It’s the one that you’ve been looking for this whole time and I’m telling you it’s right here!! You completely forget all about the other gloves you’ve ever owned or the ones you’ve ever seen on the pros or in the shops. This is it. This is the one. Exceeded all expectations. Took a chance on unfamiliar brand due to not being impressed by more popular brands that I can actually feel and touch in athletic stores. Was almost game ready when received. Very comfortable glove. Easy to break in due to soft leather. Seems to be very durable even though it’s lightweight. Would purchase all over again. Excited to use it more often next year as the new season kicks in.

Glove was more than perfect for this year's season. High school outfield level. easy to break in, great leather quality and impeccable stringing/stitching. This glove should last quite a while with proper care. Very light. No complaints here, they take baseball serious and they know what they're producing.

Our son loves his new glove and couldn't be happier with it. It has broken in nicely and fairly easily with a deep pocket for outfield catches.

I got the lefty camel colored glove and it fits great! Solid quality, and came within 4 days!
