Happy Classy x2 Drop Spindle Top Whorl Yarn Spinning Hand Carved Family Pack

I bought one of these drop spindles as a teacher looking to purchase several spindles for my classroom. They arrived quickly and were packaged well. The drop spindles are made out of two separate pieces of solid wood, that were assembled together. These are basic drop spindles that have a hook attached to the bottom underside of the whorl.There are no guide notches lathed into the top of the dow section and as I mentioned before, none in the bottom under the whorl. Instead there is a small hook. There is a small notch on the whorl to assist in setting your finished yarn. These drop spindles are of a good quality and very decent price, especially if you are a beginner, afraid of commitment, or buying in bulk for a classroom with a teacher's budget.I'm still unsure of what "Happy Classy" means exactly, but I agree with the gist of the rough translation; Teaching grade schoolers to drop spin processed and unprocessed wool is hard, deciding to purchase more of these spindles was a no-brainer.

I’m new to spinning and these little spinners are perfect for me...just you basic spinner with no distracting designs. The one I have been using is balanced nicely making long spins easier. The company has awesome customer service. My product got caught up in shipping (not their fault), but they addressed my concerns immediately. You can’t go wrong with this spinner or Happy Classy!

Delivery was late but it's Christmas time, loved using it and definitely easy to use after watching some you tube videos on spinning.
