Service worth 5 starts
Pulling this handbrake out of the box, I was very pleased from the start. The quality of it is really good, it's got a great feel to it. The actual handle has a piece of foam wrapped around it, for more money I'd expect something a little better, but the solution they use is comfortable and great for the price. When I first plugged it in - there was an issue where the handbrake was delayed about 1 second. Tested in Dirt Rally 2.0 and iRacing, then verified in DiView calibration software. I logged into my Amazon to message the seller, but I already had a message waiting for me! The seller reached out preemptively to let me know that a few handbrakes went out with the wrong chip, mine included. After supplying my address, I had a replacement part at my door within 1-2 days - outstanding! One allen key and a supplied zip-tie later and I was back in business. It now works without delay. There is a small amount of noise in the movement but I don't hear it when I play so it doesn't bother me one bit. For the price, this is amazing. For the amount I use the handbrake, I did not want to spend money on a fancy brand, and I'm very, very happy I got this for my rig. Would recommend to anyone who needs to upgrade their sim.

Solid budget handbrake for sim racing with a few quirks
I’ve been using the NRAQR USB handbrake for a few weeks now, mainly in Assetto Corsa and BeamNG, and overall it’s a great entry-level option if you want to add more realism to your drifting or rally sim setup. Pros: • Plug and play on Windows — no software required. It was recognized instantly by my PC. • Adjustable tension via the spring system gives it a decently progressive feel. It’s not hydraulic, but for the price, it does the job. • Metal construction feels sturdy. The handle doesn’t feel cheap, and it holds up well under hard pulls. • Mounting options are flexible. I mounted it on my rig’s side rail, and it stayed solid even during aggressive use. Cons: • Sensitivity can be hit or miss. It’s analog, but it may need some tweaking in-game to get the range dialed in. Some games required manual calibration. • No instructions included. Not a huge deal if you’re used to sim gear, but beginners might have to look up a guide online. • USB cable could be longer. Depending on your setup, you may need an extension. Final Thoughts: If you’re on a budget and want to start using a dedicated handbrake without spending hundreds, this is a great value. It won’t match the feel of higher-end hydraulic models, but for casual sim drifting or rally, it works well and holds up reliably.

Not perfect but dang am I happy with this thing
You plug this thing in and it's called Arduino Leonardo or something like that. That means that this is made by someone who just wants to build stuff. That's exactly what you're getting and I think it's fantastic. The only instructions it comes with is to prove that it really is working. This is because it isn't compatible with all games. For me, it works in Dirt Rally 2 and Project Cars 2. It does not work in Wreckfest. Luckily some other Amazon customers left videos showing how they mounted theirs because I couldn't figure it out. I saw some old reviews that the USB was getting knocked loose; well it's glued and zip tied on now. I have to admit that one of the bolt came off and I had to go out to get metric hex keys to put it back on. It's holding tight now. There's also a weird latch that jingles around as you use it. I have no idea what it's for and I'll probably never know. I have to say that I'm really happy with this purchase. Totally worth the price.

Simple and easy to use, build quality though…
Handbrake works as it’s supposed to, the spring has good feeling and it’s super simple to setup and use. However, you’ll probably need a socket or Allen set to finish the assembly job, as lots of screws and bolts are loose out of the box. Between loose bolts and screws, a zip tie and a cheap mount (which has worked fine so far but it’s still super cheap), I would have loved to get this from eBay for like $20 as it works great once it’s all finished. I’m in college so $50+ was a bit much especially for the build quality, and I don’t have easy access to tools to finish the assembly. Good product (again maybe not for 50 but perhaps I’m just cheap), and some assembly required.

Mixed Results - Worth Trying
Build-wise I really like this e-brake. It's solid and you can shorten the throw or length of the shaft easily. Sensor-wise, the readings I got weren't adequate for the job. Maybe the magnetic field is too short for the hall effect sensor on the board (magnet possibly oriented the wrong way?) but it effectively made the brake all-or-nothing, when I need a bit more sensitivity than that. So two stars off for the sensor, but if you get one where it's not an issue it should be a great brake.

Product works but not plug and play for all games!!
Worked for most games but requires alot of tedious setup and troubleshooting to make it work for Forza horizon 4. Which is not mentioned before purchase, also you are giving no trouble shooting help by the seller. Overall product worked in the end and has good build quality
