Surprising gains
Due to health issues and age, the ole gal ain't what she used to be. I bought these as a gift but when I tried them, I fell in love! They are amazingly heavy but perfect for building upper body strength. I think they are ideal because I can't drop them, the weight is evenly distributed, and they challenge muscles grown lazy by bedrest or sedentary lifestyle. I could feel even my abdominal muscles reacting. Even 15 minutes of varied stretches made a difference. Just what I need. May add ankle weights to my chair exercise routines. Try them....they work even if you don't carve time out for exercise. Bonus: easy to attach velcro myself.

Excellent gloves
These are 2lbs each. I use them to add resistance to regular workouts. They go on easily, I have smaller wrists, so I have to velcro them all the way tight. That's ok with me, as I would rather do that than hold a really light free weight for my workout, which is what I was doing before. 2lbs may not seem like a lot, but my regular workout has a lot of moves with my hands held above my head, or moving up and down. Some days I can't wear them the whole time. I really love the ease of adding these to my resistance training. They are well constructed, fit well, and are a great buy. I recommend them.

Good if you wear size small-medium gloves
These seem well made and the weight is well distributed, despite the size not being right for me.Others have commented on the fit without leaving specifics of size, so let me help clear this up. I wear a size XSL (that's extra small long) in gloves. my hands are 3" wide across the knuckles. My wrist is 6 1/4" around. If my hands and fingers were shorter I could wear child-sized gloves (albeit only a large in children's' sizing). I've met over a dozen other women with hands this small. It isn't that uncommon, but it's hard to find gloves that fit (try shopping for armor-I had to make my own steel gauntlets!).These weights fit my partner, who can comfortably wear size small gloves, very well. On him they don't slide around and the velcro closure has good overlap. I believe a size medium would also be able to wear them comfortably. For me, the velcro barely catches, and I could get 2 fingers to fit in each of the finger loops (meant for one finger) though the fit there is tight. Wearing them normally cinched tight around my wrist they are wider than my hands and have a little slop that might be very irritating if doing very active motions as they slide around a bit. That said, I doubt any decent weights in my size are available anywhere, so I plan to make do. If the velcro were removed and stitched on a little further from the edge it would give more coverage (and there's room on the flap to sew it!). These are large and bulky, but if you're doing low-impact work, I think they'll be fine.

These worked to increase free weights.
I bought these gloves so I could still lift free weights but could drop down in weight amount to get a smaller hand grip. After arthritis surgery on my small hands, I easily fatigue my grip going up in weight amounts. (Unfortunately weight grips have circumferences for larger hands; smaller grips would be a wonderful addition!). These weights solved my problem and allow me to max weights without hurting my hands. Thet have good velcro closures and can be fastened too accommodate wrist size. Right now the velcro fasterns well. Hopefully the velcro will wear well over time.

Good, but not great.
This was my first pair of kickboxing gloves I’ve ever bought. As much as I wanted to like them, I just don’t. They’re huge, for one. I’m a plus sized 5’3 girl and these are huge on my hands. I put them as tight as possible but whenever I punch, they slide up and down. If straps were around each finger, that would be awesome. I can only wear one because if I wear both, one of them overlaps my Apple Watch and it gives me false readings. And the third thing I hate is the smell. Ugh. The original smell it came with was something I thought I could handle. But after using them a couple of times and my hand getting sweaty, ugh it smells horrible. I hate it. And yes I’ve tried hand washing them but the smell is still there. Needless to say, I’m disappointed in these. You do get what you pay for. They might be good for someone else but they’re just not it for me. I’m going to be looking elsewhere. Thank you.

Awesome! Universal fit.
Just as expected.. 2 pounds each hand.. its a Universal fit... (Note: my hands are a size Small in winter gloves.).. i wear them while im on my Spinning Bike, listening to music inspires me to want to dance to the beat, so i will move my arms as im spinning. Im EXTREMELY happy with my purchase. I LOVE THAT THE WEIGHT IS ABOVE MY HAND AND DO NOT GET IN THE WAY WHEN HOLDING SOMETHING.. soon i will be using them as i Rollerblade. My 13 yr old uses them as well and seems to really like them too.

Too big and stretchy and soak up sweat
The 2lbs per hand weight is great, the thumb hole is tight at first but soon after using the whole glove is too stretchy even for my big hands so then it rubs a few of my knuckles raw. I'm using them for VR boxing and they get soaked with sweat and then the iron weight material spatters rusty sweat all over the room and wall. I've resorted to using my thin mountain bike gloves with them to save the knuckles and mitigate the rust spatter. Going to try the title boxing next despite the lesser weight as the wrap design looks like it will stay snug to my hands better for essentially the hard punch swing motions of the game's shadow boxing mechanics.

works very well, even for small wrists
It was hard to find 2 pound hand weighted gloves, but these worked out very well. I have small wrists, but between the velcro around the wrist and the finger holes, the gloves stay secure on my wrists and hands, and although I use them for a 50 minute exercise period, they are comfortable with no irritation on my skin. Thank you.
