Fearless Small Group Bible Study Discussion Guide: Imagine Your Life Without Fear

This book can change your live if you have fears of any kind. Someone once told me that the Bible mentions some form of fear over 360 times. That is one time for every day; fear, worry, problems, etc. Well, after this study I didn't stop having fear but I knew where to direct it back to the source of its owner and after practice I now can walk right thru a lot of it knowing where my real strength comes from. It is now a choice and no longer keeps me in bondage. I do feel that I've grown in faith thru this study. There are really two books that need to be bought together. One has questions and answers to help you discover your fears. One is a study guide.

I have really loved some Max Lucado books in the past and was excited about leading our small group through this study. The discussion guide was solid, but we did skip week 5, Fear of Global Calamity. While I understand that we live in uncertain times, I don't know how many people have an active fear about global calamity. We also adapted them to fit our group by expounding on certain points and eliminating others.Overall, there was a lot of solid material and I like that Lucado backs up his thoughts with solid theology and Bible verses.

Another well written book by one of the best Christian writer. Easy to read and sound advice supported by the Bible. Highly recommend if you have anxiety or just some fear in general about our crazy world. As always, a book won't solve anything, it must be followed by action but this book is well written.

Good book on the subject. Max is always a good read, I have several of his books. Never disappointed.

This Small Group Discussion Guide (along with the "Fearless" Book & DVD) is an AMAZING tool to use in Bible study groups! Our group is moving thru the chapters carefully & slowly, taking our time "digesting" each important chapter in the book. Max Lucado is a master at finding nuggets of gold in Bible verses, and bringing them to us in a modern-day, understandable, "use-able" format. We will remember what we've seen & heard from these compelling lessons, as we learn to trust more and fear less. Thank you for offering this incredible, insightful series on the FEAR we all face every day! It is truly making a difference in our lives.

I've done many Bible studies, but this is the first from Max Lucado. I am enjoying it very much. I would note that the book Fearless does already include questions in the back of it for every chapter. This guide does not have a session for each chapter and, although slightly more in-depth, would not be a necessity to getting a lot out of this study. I would just buy the book and do the questions in it, which is what we're doing for all the chapters that are not in the guide anyway.

I used this for a small spiritual formation group. With a lot of effort you can get some good discussions going from it. However, he is way too cutesy for my taste, and only provides the in depth help for a portion of the chapters.
