Works Great - Wears comfortably
I just got mine yesterday, and it looks and feels like good quality. The stitching is solid, with no visible defects - which is always nice! The best part of this holder is that it gets the knife out of your pocket, and keeps it (very) comfortably out of the way. The push-through design is an absolute plus as well - my knife pops right out - faster than trying to remove it from my pocket even when clipped! One word of advice for prospective customers: I purchased the "small", so it may be different for the medium, but this pouch does not work very well with my reverse-clip knife (where the clip is at the bottom of the knife, so it holds the knife upside down when in your pocket). It is difficult to try and push the knife either into or out of the pouch because you have to really work to shove the larger/thicker top of the knife into/out of the opening. If the clip is at the top of the knife then it goes into the pouch easily when inserting it bottom first. I would definitely recommend this - and am thinking of buying a few for my co-workers!

Very Nice! Very Comfortable!
I had to try a couple of different knife combinations and both sizes of this sheath to find something that worked, but I did eventually find it. I settled on the smaller version of this sheath. Here is a link to the knife I use it with, just in case anyone is interested... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1MP3DKD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details You might want a knife that's narrow-ish. One that's too think will NOT fit. I had a large knife that I tried to carry with the larger version of this sheath, and I wasn't as big a fan. Didn't hold as tightly to my belt, and didn't hold the knife as securely. The knife I linked, and the smaller version of this sheath combo were the right choice though. I scout carry the knife, meaning I wear it on my back. Very comfortable. I sometimes even forget it's there! The only exception would be when it gets caught on something when I'm trying to squeeze through a small space. I try to always have my shirt over the knife, that usually tends to solve the problem. Also, it gets a TAD bit uncomfortable when riding around in vehicles. But because this knife isn't that big, it isn't that big a deal. I would recommend this sheath to anyone wanting to free up some pocket space. Whether you carry on the back like me, or on a hip!

Real leather
Real leather, work's very well with a 4.5 inch pocket knife. Good value, fits a 2 inch belt. Great purchase.

Good idea poor quality
I bought two these one for me one for my wife mine the stitching is already coming undone after I had it just a month so now I barely use it. I love the horizontal hold. I like the look and think it’s a great idea. It was just faulty.

Surprisingly Good
It has only been in use for a few days, but it's been a few days of outside in the sun, sweat, and forest and has been really good. The retention of the knife while being easy enough to retrieve the knife is quite surprising with not much, if any break in period. I was concerned that the knife it was to be used for pushing the limits of the sheath, but it's pretty perfect. Time will tell on longevity, but it seems to be well made and the only thing I'm going to do is apply mink oil to the leather. The knife I'm using with follows. Smith & Wesson Large S.W.A.T. SWATLB 8.5in S.S. Assisted Opening Knife.

Not bad
Pretty solid just a bit baggy and got soft real fast. Needs two hands to re-sheathe a pocket knife because it got real flexible. One hand to hold the leather taught and the other to insert your knife. Not bad if you're not using your knife a ton

Good for everyday carry
Awesome little holder. The only thing is if you got a pretty small knife there’s a good chance it’ll start twisting and fall out. But still good.

Nice little knife pouch …
As long as your knife has a strong, stiff clip your knife isn’t going anywhere. I’ve tried a few different types and sizes of knives in this sheath and it will accommodate most (a lot) of different sizes with no issues. Soft, smooth leather. No issues with it fitting on different belts either (width, type of material). Very happy with this item. Holds the knife nice and snug and easily removes when needed. I wear mine in the small of my back and have no issues retrieving it. Nice and discreet.

Wet molded to fit my Leatherman.
Its exactly what i had been looking for , i purchased a second one and wet molded it (over night) to fit my Leatherman Arc and it now fits like a glove👍. Its as slim and light as your going to get for the purpose and its a nice real leather and tough enough. Your knife should have a pocket clip for peace of mind. If you do wet mold it for your knife be sure to account for your belt thickness, i slid a plastic ruler in the belt slot to simulate my belt and put your knife in a thin plastic bag to protect it and let it all sit overnight.
