This works. Just have patience.
I was looking for a replacement for the Windsor and Newton brush cleaner I'd be using for years and took a chance on this product. And I'm glad I did. This really does restore brushes. The key with it is patience. I had brushes that I've heavily used for the past 5 years for acrylic painting and they were on their last leg. So I used the cleaner on them, alright if the outcome was they needed to be tossed. After the first 24 hours I could visually see paint being stripped from the bristles. I took them out, gently washed them, then got concerned. The paint has been dissolved, but had almost created a type of tar, rendering the brushes unusable. I could have stopped there. But I decided that since the brushes were already bound for the trash, what was the harm in putting them back in the solution. There was no harm. The solution was working as intended, cleaning the brushes of paint that had been dried in them for YEARS. It's taken several rounds in the solution for it to effectively clean all that dried paint out. Nearly the whole bottle. But it's worked. The brushes have been restored. And on newer brushes it works just as effectively, with minimal time in the solution. Overall I estimated that it took around a week of sitting in the solution to fully restore my WORST brushes. And around 12 hours for my newer ones. The bristles were not damaged during these long periods in the solution either. It also doesn't evaporate quickly, which was the reason for my switch to it initially. It's also half the price as bigger name brands and for me it was worth every scent.

Awsome Art Supply Cleaner!
This Cleaner is Amazing. It's my go to cleaner for paint brushes and my airbrushes. I like it better than lacquer thinner, acetone etc..it's way less fumey and I actually like the way it smells. The bottle states it's non-hazardous, I don't know the ingredients are but it breaks down acrylics, lacquers, enamel and 2K clear faster than lacquer thinner. This is my second time buying this product.

A little goes a long way
I got this to replace a small container of watercolor brush soap I misplaced. I like the convenience of a liquid over the soap I had. A tiny bit of this cleaner goes a long way. It will leave a slight residue on glass, so rinse thoroughly. I had some watercolors that were kinda difficult to get out of a cheap plastic palette. This stuff cleaned it right out. It does have a slight odor but itโs fine so long as you wash your hands and rinse your stuff, after using. My brushes were clean and I did not notice any negative difference in their performance after using this product. There is value for the money because it doesnโt take much to thoroughly clean my watercolor brushes.

Great Brush Cleaner for Artists
Great product! This artistโs brush cleaner removes dried oil and acrylic paint from brushes very well. I let them soak for a few hours, and they are good as new!

Worth a bottle.
I use walnut oil, soap & water, along with mineral spirits, and THIS solvent for keeping my brushes clean and soft. This wonโt really clean your brushes in a live painting session, itโs mostly for getting off dried paint over the course of several days. It will keep the bristles healthy if you leave them in it over night. Strong Oder, good price, reusing the same jar of it since I poured it out. Works very well.

Worked great but had very little
Worked really well but was super small. That was highly disappointing. It did end up cleaning off my brushes really well though! Praise God! The smell was really strong though so I would maybe leave it out in a ventilated area. I do wish it was cheaper for the amount.

Cleans paint off
Works pretty well in cleaning paint off brushes. It also does well with Army Painter Speedpaint. I also use it to soak brushes overnight when I find paint getting into the ferrules, and usually but not always have good results. I use this as my first wash, then use soap to really clean and treat the brush.
