I LOVE this and use it daily!! I’ve tried just about everything—pitchers, a full water distiller—and this is the first one that actually made me prefer drinking water. It is great for daily use and for our off grid lifestyle as well as for emergency use! I’ve tried water filter pitchers over the years, and I also own a water distiller. Out of all of them, I prefer the taste of the water from this system the most — and that surprised me. Check out the 10 second video:) This is also the most affordable long-term option I’ve used. It requires no electricity, which I really appreciate. My tap water is hard and tastes pretty gross, so I can immediately tell when a filter actually makes a difference. And the water from this tastes clean and smooth, without the flat or strange taste I sometimes get from distilled water. I like things that work without constant upkeep or energy use. This just sits on the counter and does its job. It’s great for off grid living 🌲 🌳 🔥 and I’ve gotten another for my camper! I feel much better drinking this than straight tap water, and the taste alone makes it worth it for me. Update after continued use: I’m still using this daily and still love it just as much as when I first got it. The taste has stayed consistently clean and smooth! 💧

This is a nice non-electric way of filter water if you want to go off the grid. If you are accustomed to the flavor of reverse osmosis water, this might be a bit of an adjustment. One thing that vastly improves the flavor is if you add about a dozen drops of food grade 30% hydrogen peroxide in the top tank and the bottom tank. And yes, I do know that you’re not supposed to drink hydrogen peroxide. According to the people that built another water system, I was told that in a tank where you draw the water off the bottom to drink it’s safe to add. The hydrogen peroxide is lighter than the water and rises to the top, but it kills bacteria and cleans up the flavor dramatically! It is really quite amazing how good the water taste since I’ve started adding a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to each tank load. Please do not use the kind of hydrogen peroxide that’s formulated for first aid skin care. That has other chemical factors added that are not appropriate to put in your drinking water and may change the dynamic that I explained here.

I wish I had ordered this water filtration system sooner. We love the clean, sweet taste of the water it produces. We are a family of 2 and this system produces a lot more water than we thought it would from the first day we set it up. I highly recommend this system. The city water where we live is full of some sort of white chalky stuff, tastes bad, smells bad and has way too many chemicals. This water system is the next best thing to distilled water. The Purewell system makes the water taste even better than store-bought water in plastic bottles. Give it a try. If your city or well water is as nasty as what we have here, you will be so happy you took the chance to try this Purewell Water Filtration System. The unit works as advertised. Assembly was intuitive. Do prime the filtration cartridges before use as the instructions describe. I only have used it to remove chlorine taste so far. I suspect it would do more. If stand has a slight wobble you can gently adjust how it sets manually. If you observe the flow speed of water from the valve and/or peek inside the reservoir before filling then you won't overflow it. It's worth the price
