We used this to add color to candles we were making. The color and shade of the finished product was exactly what we needed. Since I didn't post a picture in my review, the best I can tell you is that somehow the color matched the fragrance we used perfectly.

Glass separator
I used the mica powder to keep fused glass from sticking to a mold fired in a kiln at 1450 degrees. The mica was applied by dusting very lightly over the mold and using my gloved hand to rub it into indentations. I wore a respirator, and was careful of ventilation. The mica left a lovely shine.
