Failed after less than a month of use. Very disappointed! But support so far has been good.
Was easy to set up and worked great - for about a month - then failed completely. Now computer doesn't see it when plugged into usb port. Paid $40 for this product - given reputation - very, very disappointed! Lots of zero delay encoders out there for less than 1/4 the price..10/16/21 update - add three more stars for really fast/responsive support. I emailed them test results plus pictures. After some additional tests, they sent me a return label and said they would send a replacement. I sent the defective unit back yesterday.10/28/21 update - Received and installed the replacement and it works. Moved my switches back from the kl25z back to the ipac. It's nice not to have to use joytokey. Add another star because of how they back their product and super support. Definitely 5 star.

Love this adaptor for my virtual pnball machine!
The iPac is a necessary item for my virtual pinball machine. The product works to convert the button signals into keystrokes that Visual Pinball and Future Pinball use to control the tables you play. The iPac settings were straighforward but tricky to figure out which wire is going to reprsent which key. There is software to configure the iPac. The graphical display helps a lot to show which wired connection will be assign to any keystroke you wish. You can set up a macro of multiple keys if your software needs that feature.I did contact the company with a set up question and I did get a personal answer that helped.I find the device works very well in my pinball cabinet.

Great for Steam / CoinOps
I used this to replace the Xin-Mo USB encoder that ships with the Atari Ultimate stick. I went through a handful of different USB encoders (minus a Brooks), and this was by far the best option for what I wanted. Allows you to toggle between keyboard input (defaults to MAME mapping) and Xinput (which is treated as an actual Xbox controller) on the fly. Solved my issues trying to troubleshoot Steam / CoinOps compatibility, preserves player order without additional work, and still works great with a Pi. Great software to remap inputs. If you’re debating between this and a Zero Delay encoder, and are interested in using CoinOps on Windows (even occasionally) this would be my pick.

Worked great. Installed 4 so far
Worked great. Installed 4 so far. Had issue with it not being recognized on 2 of 4 comps with Windows 7 Home Premium. Added a 3.0 USB card and this fixed the problem. No idea why this problem came up on only 2 out of 4 installs. Very easy to use. Getting 4 more.

Needed this for a trackball build
I used this for a trackball build and I got everything working BUT it was a bit challenging to wire the trackball. The adapter uses tiny pin connectors like what are on a PC motherboard, not the much bigger connector that came with my HAPP trackball. I ended up using 2x USB 2.0 internal motherboard extension cables to splice to the HAPP connector. I wish they had included or at least offered an adapter. The actual arcade buttons were super easy to connect and I'm happy with the build.

Noticeably lower latency than cheap arcade connectors
If you can use this as a keyboard on your emulators, this has the fastest inputs I've ever seen. I cannot distinguish this from real time, whereas the cheap USB encoders everyone sells are easier to install and use, but have noticeable latency. Can be configured to input as an Xbox controller, which is very handy, but I wish they made that functionality a little easier to activate.

Installed in a MAME cabinet. Works really well... I didn't even need to daisy chain all the ground terminals; no sirree. I am running multiple units in this cabinet and was able to run the ground for each side of the unit into 2 extraneous grounds on the other unit already grounding all the microswitches. Bada bing. Super happy.
