Writes very smoothly. I love that it is a small pen. Slightly taller than Kaweco Sport. The clear body is quite sturdy. Totally worth it.

This is one of my every-day carries and I own 3 of them. I love these pens. It's a pocket pen, so know that it's going to be short, unless you post it. It's a pen that's made to be posted. It's slightly top-heavy, but nothing that actually bothers me while I'm writing. The section in thicker than the Pilot Metro, and less tapered. I love that, because I find the metro a bit too slender.The fine nib is quite fine. As usual with Japanese ground nibs, it's actually an extra-fine by European measures. If you own a Pilot Metro or other pilot steel nibs, this nib will have a familiar feel. It's got feedback but is still smooth. The steel is quite ridged. Despite being almost nail-like in rigidity, there is a small amount of line-variation to be had with nominal pressure. Flow is on the low side, making this perfect on cheaper paper and even offers shading with appropriate inks---which is stunning for a fine nib.The TWSBI Mini is probably the most comparable in for a pocket pen in the price range of the MSRP. The TWSBI is a sturdier pen with a piston fill. However, the Prera can ship from Japanese sellers for about half of the MSRP, making them an excellent value.

es una fantasía erótica hecha realidad. La F japonesa es más fina que una EF europea (es obvio frente a una Lamy Vista por ejemplo) y en un papel de calidad el trazo es algo indescriptible. Lo tiene todo: flujo, precisión, contraste... Como inconvenientes ese flujo estupendo se seca (luego se arregla enseguida) a poco que titubees mientras escribes (es para personas con ideas claras; si has de pensar tápala!!), y el TAMAÑO es un poco justo. Yo creía que mis manos eran pequeñas para un adulto y tengo que ponerle el capuchón para escribir con soltura (cosa que no hago jamás con ninguna otra pluma). Pero todo se perdona con un plumín así. Además se puede hacer eyedropper con facilidad (pero trae convertidor de serie encima). Entrega perfecta, estuche si acaso sobrado.

Einen Pilot Prera (Fine Nib) benutze ich schon seit fast zwei Jahren. Hauptsächlich zum Zeichnen, manchmal auch zum Schreiben. Jetzt habe ich mir noch einen zweiten gekauft, um ihn mit einer andersfarbigen Tinte zu füllen.Diese Füller sind echt fantastisch. Die Feder gleitet hervorragend über das Papier, der Tintenfluss ist klasse und der Strich so wie ich ihn mir beim Skizzieren wünsche.Obwohl ich kleine Hände habe, tat ich mich anfänglich mit der Balance etwas schwer. Die Füller liegen leicht in der Hand und sind ziemlich kurz. Normalerweise benutze ich längere Stifte. Hätte ich größere Hände, würde ich die Stifte wohl nicht so toll finden, weil es mir wichtig ist, dass sie zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger aufliegen können und nicht die Handinnenfläche berühren.Fazit: Super Füller mit Konverter für feine, ebenmäßige Striche. This pen is shorter than I expected. If you have large hands, it may be uncomfortably short for you. If you like a heavier pen, it is almost certainly too light for you. But it fits in my hand nicely and I don't mind the weight.The nib is very, very, very fine. I got the F and it's much finer than a "Western" EF nib, at least in my limited experience. Ink delivery seems good, but I feel like I want a little more sometimes. This could be down to the ink color though--I am using Waterman Serenity Blue, which is probably too light and appears sort of washed out when it's dry. I plan to try the Pilot Blue-Black ink in it next and see if that makes me feel better.The nib feels OK on most paper, although it is a wee bit "toothy" on both Rhodia and cheap copy paper, and (to my surprise) it is downright scratchy on Moleskine.Overall I like the pen, but if I were to buy another, I might look into the M nib.
