Tortoise light
This is the second one I’ve bought and both are faulty . The light dosnt always come on like it’s got a loose connection . I won’t purchase another the same x

Its stoped working started crackling..Tried a new bulb an its not working ...Before i did that i tried bulb in different lamp ...

Work well and they look nice
I have these on all my vivariums, attached to timer switches, so they come on for 12 hours every day. They sit behind the UVB canopies as my cats tended to knock them over when I had them in front of the canopy (when they were at the back of the vivs). The only thing I’ve changed on them is to remove the switch, as these aren’t great, and fit on/off rocker switches. Plus it’s really easy to check the wiring that goes into the bulb holder, by unscrewing the top part. The main reason I like these is because they have built in ceramic holders which can be quite pricey when bought on their own and I like the shape. When I get round to it I’ll be fitting fancy brackets to the brown door and attaching them to the brackets.
