I have purchased several of these and overall I like them but an update to construction is needed:1) the long oval and the rectangular molds needs support on the sudes in order to maintain the structural strength and shape.2) inconsistencies in the long oval mold.Notes1) use silicone oil2) ensure the end of pen is in nub. That's needed to keep resin out of the pen end3) I used a rotary tool that has a small drill bit that fits perfectly into the end of the pens. After pulling the pens out of the mold, I drill out the air hole. If you don't have an air hole, the pen won't last very long due to the vacuum created without air.4) I also use a small drum sander (600 grit) with the rotary tool to take off the sharp edges.I've made many for my son's patients.1) Flowers2) metal and stone mica3) small pebbles4) Sand with different color mica. Adds texture and weight5) multi color - surprising how much these are liked....along with the pens with flowers.See pictures of the different sizes across orders. Consistency and more structural support is needed.

Great that they delivered the blue / black / red inks with the molds, it would be nice to have green ink too.The pictures don’t show the other side of the pens but of course on all of them you have a flat side which makes them not the most confortable pens to write with.At the back tip of the pens’ molds they have a small holder for the ink. It’s sent without explanation and it’s small so I didn’t see it right the way.My major concern is that the tip of the pens don’t get filled in easily (for 2 out of 3 molds). So the 3 times I tried to make a pen, I ended up each time with a hole on the tip.Otherwise pretty cool and fun to do.

These work well. I wish they could be refillable but they are nice

Great idea, kids love making these but they come out with one side having uncomfortable edges that need to be sanded down... not sure how to get around this but kids don't seem to care ;

Could be a little thicker so sides don’t bulge out when full.
