Get this over the regular AZ09
The noise floor is hardly noticeable and I haven't experienced any connection issues in the past month compared to the original AZ09. It uses regular aptX not aptX adaptive but the sound quality is still solid. It's not listed in the manual but triple-clicking the left button enables a hidden high-gain mode that simply makes it louder. They also have a quirk where sometimes they will stay on and connected to my phone inside the case but just making sure they are seated properly on the charging pins has prevented that from happening again. Battery life is amazing compared to regular TWS earbuds. I use these continuously for 5-6 hours and my phone still shows 50% battery remaining. Unsure if that is correct but that's already more than the 4 hours I get with OnePlus Buds Pros with ANC on. I paired these with my Moondrop Arias but they will need modification since these are C-pin and the B-pin version is nowhere to be seen. The black part is silicone and the inner part is plastic so it is very easy to trim with a knife and file.

Make it wireless!
I must say this it's been a journey to even stumble across this kind of wireless setup. I've just started to understand the audiophile world of IEM's and sadly I've spent some money on headphones that were a little disingenuous with their advertising. Luckily, they gave me the opportunity to explore my options and in doing so I've found some phenomenal headphones in comparison to what've been using for entire my life and at a fraction of the price. The only problem I had...They weren't wireless. This bluetooth setup has changed that entirely and my only wish is that more people would know that there is so much more bang you can get for your buck!I had originally bought these for the YINYOO CCZ Warrior but those were a B-Pin Connection. I ended up buying the KZ Zax in Ear Headphones 7BA+1DD Hybrid which was a fantastic and pricer (still nowhere near what I paid for headphones in the past). These have been fantastic and I just want to point out it with it only being a couple weeks of use. I have yet to to have these die or even hear a low battery sound from them but the case has turned yellow on me twice in about three weeks. I've used my macbook charger to charge these in about 20 minutes and I feel like that's normally good for about a week. The mic quality is good but I don't think I can be heard well in noisy environments, not really a downside for me because that is not their main purpose for me but it may be for someone else.My only two cons are that at times (maybe 3-4 times over the past couple weeks) the connection cuts for about a few seconds when passing by what I'm assuming is strong bluetooth connections that interfere with my connection, definitely not a huge problem because this has happened to me before with other bluetooth devices but it is noticeable. The second con is more of wish haha, the case is a bit bulky and I've definitely struggled to find the opening side.Outside of that, I highly recommend these for anyone exploring their options in affordability and superior sound.

6 month before failure
Excellent adapters used with my higher end kz IEMs mainly for T.V. Used for almost 6 months until the Left side suddenly would drain in 15 minutes when connected to my LG OLED Tv and maybe a little longer life with my Pixel 6. Now left side is completely dead.Reached out via Amazon way past return period but feel I should have gotten a little more life out of them. Disappointed, because they are excellent when working. Manufacturer responded almost immediatelyand a new kz az09 was sent. They work perfectly . I am revising to 5 stars.

Sounds great but glitched after a month
Product worked well with my KZ ZS10 earbuds, but after about a month, the right Bluetooth got stuck in some kind of glitch where it kept fast flashing the blue light. Tried everything but could not get it to work again. Apparently a very common thing with this adapter if you Google it. I emailed support but never received a response. Save your money and buy an actual non-adapter Bluetooth earbuds.

TWS for audiophiles!
I have been looking and waiting for someone to develop a TWS for my good multi driver IEMs and KZ has delivered with the KZ-AZ09 Pro. It is also called the KZ-TWS HD Bluetooth upgrade ear-hook. It uses Bluetooth 5.2 with support for Apt-x formats as well as low latency. The two pin connectors work of course with most KZ IEMs but also with TRN such as my TRN ST5’s. My favorite pairing so far though are with the KZ ZAX 16 driver IEMs (pictured). I stream mainly through Amazon Music HD. These support up to 24 bit/48khz. The ZAX sound as good as any wired solution I have at the moment which is not saying a lot since I do not own anything that can play much higher than that wired.Performance wise, they drive the ZAX with ease and with good dynamics and details. People complain that the ZAX low end is not very good but I seriously beg to differ. With the proper sized tip and good seal the low end is deep, punchy and fast. No bloat in my opinion. The wireless connection has been very stable and has great range. Battery life is really all day with these. I did 8hrs with them straight and still had yet to get the low battery warning. The case charges them with a built in battery to charge them about 4 to 5 times before it needs a recharge. The case has a current usb-c connection for charging but does not support wireless charging. For the price of around $49 you get a great bang for your buck! Highly recommend!

Glitches out sometimes
While it does work for its intended purpose and the battery life is fenominal it has a tendency to randomly glitch the audio coming through EX: starting and stopping the music really quickly in one or both earbuds at the same time but almost always after about 1-2 seconds of this everything goes back to normal and the music plays normally sometimes this glitch happens quite often and sometimes it doesn't. Your mileage may vary.
