This is a genuine frame protection tape, it's THICK! This is a PREMIUM product and expect to take your time. Not the easiest at first, but good things come to those with patience. Clean your frame, use soapy water on your fingers to handle it. Personally, I apply this dry, as long as you don't stick it really hard to start, it's very forgiving to lift up and reposition. Using the application spray will give you more room for error if you're new to this kind of product. Heat is your friend, hair dryer or heat gun, start on the center of one end, heat a small section at a time and press toward the edge. Go slow, be careful and you'll love the outcome. I rebuild kids bikes and I've been using this on all my builds and absolutely love it.

This wrap offers better protection compared to competitors like RideWrap. I've used both and speak from experience. However, there is a trade off. Due to the additional thickness/protection comes the additional challenge of getting this product to lay flat on curved surfaces. So it requires more patience and time to install. IMHO it's worth it, if you are like me and your riding style requires the best protection. For first time install, I recommend getting one of the patterns which easily covers up any air pockets which typically develop from any frame wrap DIY install. This one is more prone to air pockets, again due to stiffness. Any sections where you are heating the wrap up to stretch in order to make it fit flat will likely pull up creating a air pocket, given time. So creating relief cuts along all curve surfaces is the key to getting this to lay flat and stay flat against the frame. Make templates for proper fit before cutting up your wrap.

Overall 4.5 stars. Quality of the materials 5 stars The reason for a 1 star deduction is: 1. The squeegee is tiny and you will need a larger one. 2. There’s not enough material in one roll to do the top tube, down tube and rear triangles let alone seat post or anything else. This is a very thick material and much more heavy duty than I expected. This stuff is bb proof. Installation is tedious and you need to have patience and experience with applying vinyl will be a huge bonus. Over all I’m happy with how well it applied with my bike. The black topo looks incredibly good and subtle on my already matte dark grey “magic bolt” black frame. I had to order a second roll to finish my rear triangles and seat post. Otherwise it’s a great product. I highly suggest you have good lighting in the area you are going to apply. I did not and discovered some air bubbles I couldn’t see until it was done.

I don’t write reviews. But for this one I had to. First off the package came packaged inside another box and was very well packed! Second, I was shocked at how much they put into proper packaging. The roll came inside a solid plastic jar with a nice lid. Inside was a little vinyl wrapping tool. Then first rolled up inside are heavy paper templates for down tubes and other various frame locations. Then the roll slid out of the tube and I can feel the quality right away. I rolled it back some and peeled the corner to feel the thickness and this is where I was impressed, I thought I was buying a roll of vinyl sticker pattern to cover the top tubes and this is some impressive tape. Not only is a pretty cool pattern it’s clear in the back which is awesome! It’s actually really thick frame protecting tape. I didn’t install yet but I know it’s gonna work great on the fresh matte black! As of now, I 100% recommend this if ya wanna not only protect you paint but it also looks great. ONLY CON… the patterns suck bad. This one I is the ONLY reason I grabbed it. Def try it out!!!

It's never coming off. This stuff once it sticks it is on there. I don't think I could remove it. I repainted my old bike and wanted to add a little something to make it less boring. This did the trick it is exactly what I wanted for my mountain bike. This stuff is Thick! It will keep your frame from getting scuffed up but I don't know how I would take it off if I wanted too. Cutting it is easy the application takes time but over all is easy to do. I don't have any noticable bubbles. It's great.

Cool in theory, but extremely difficult to install. I did my research, watched the videos, did everything as directed, took my time and still had air bubbles that will not come out. Even with their pro tips. Also would be nice if the stencil was already cut out. Finished product looks ok from a distance but kinda crappy up close. I'll wait a while before doing other parts of the bike.

What I like about it is the geometric pattern and being able to personalize and protect my bike. It’s thick, hard and durable protection. I’m not going to worry about anything scratching my bike where I placed it. It’s easy to install on flat sections but around curves, especially deep curves, is where it’s challenging. The 15mm thickness is tough and rigid, which is what you want for protection, but it may be overkill and hard to conform to curves. It doesn’t stretch like a 3M film at 8mm which is easier to wrap around curves. It comes with a mountain bike frame template but you need to cut it out and trace it over. It gives you an idea of how to create a template. But I couldn’t use the pattern for my ebike. Instead, I had to make my own template and cut it out. There’s a little trial and error here and this took a lot more time than the actual installation. Putting it on is easy if you have the pattern right and not too many curves. I’d like to see an 8mm option that can stretch around curves. I think that’s plenty thickness to protect from high impact damage.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. It may require some careful time and effort to fit but its worth it. Looks great. Make sure you watch the video before you start trying to fit.

I ordered the skin and I knew it won’t be easy to apply on my new bike because the skin was designed for mountain bikes and mine is BTWIN Riverside 150 hybrid bike from Decathlon, so I didn’t use the provided stencils, instead I was able to use the two feet long skin to apply on 90% of my bike surfaces. The seller step by step video guide helped me to make the installation manageable, I can’t say it was a piece of cake but with a little patience the result was amazing. My silver color hybrid bike has round contours everywhere, so I decided to use my magic hands and fingers to apply the skin and remove bubbles with little help of the provided squeegee. At the end, the bike turned out a completely new bike as it was delivered from the factory like that. Many thanks to the seller “Amber and Mark” for a quality product.
