Kg's Boot Guard Brush On Toe Protection – Brush On Liquid for Tough, Long-Lasting Safety Protection on Boots

My steel toe was showing completely through my right boot so I order this hoping to save my boots a bit longer and I've been really happy with the outcome. Cleaned my boot toe really well with alcohol and then gave it a good scuff and applied probably 5 coats over 36 hours and then gave it a full 24 hours before wearing them again. That was about 5 months ago and it's just not starting to peek metal back thru so I'm here to buy more and leave a review. I'm extremely rough on the toes of my boots crawling around welding all day. This product is 100% worth it. Super easy to apply and last a good while. I'm gonna apply it even thicker this time and will be applying it to every boot i buy from here on out. The fumes it gives off its really strong tho so definitely apply it outside and let them dry outside. I ran everyone out of my kitchen applying it.

This stuff really works very well. My husband has put this on 4+ pair of boots. He puts it on the toe, around the soul seam and the heel. It says it will crack if put on the seam. It takes months of everyday wearing to see any cracks. The boot itself will wear out before this stuff gives at all.

I was very skeptical when I got this the first time. I put it on and this stuff works great! I have put it on 4 or 5 pairs of boots now and it really works. I work in Industrial settings with lots of oil and I do a lot of welding and I recommend this to anyone trying to keep the toes from wearing through on their boots.

the big bottle will get two pair of slip on boots and cover all the seams on the bottom. These boots came with the leather kinda greasy as it should , so i used the point of my knife to kinda rough it up a little extra. i’m a first time user so don’t know how it will perform in a production tank shop welding all day. i’ll come back in a few weeks. do stir this well and rough up the leather. seems to stick well. Ok it’s been a month so i’m reporting back. i’d like if the company would add an extra half an ounce . I was able to coat all my seams and it is holding well but the top of the toes has chipped/ abraded and i would of liked to apply extra or touch up. all in all i think it’s worth it to keep your boots strait. i’ll be getting more.

I waited a couple of months to review this product to see how well it would actually hold up and perform . I had my doubts when the package arrived and I read the instructions , I honestly figured it was another Amazon scam but I tried it anyway and it has performed flawlessly . This product is serving me very well . my boots already had a dime sized hole worn in the toe that this product filled and has protected since application . the product is easy to work with (a bit messy so do it outside and tape off what you don't want it on ) and dies overnight into a extremely durable compound with high adhesive properties . I would like to express my gratitude to the seller for listing this product . WORTH EVERY PENNY

This product does the trick. Bought slip on safety boots without toe caps. They became scuffed up. Threw this on to cover the scuffs, while adding protection. Love the textured finish.

Great product. Thought id try tough toe brand after hearing how good they were tough toe cracked within a month maybe was a bad batch?. Meanwhile previous kg lasted well over 6 month before wear was noticeable than a year till reapplied it and lasted in -50°c although since last time price has almost doubled ( hence why waited so long to redo my boots) still well worth it, was enough product to do 2 pairs of boots 2 layers each will buy again aslong as it doesn't jump up even more in price

It seems to adher good enough. But once the bottle is open it's only good for 7 days. So there is no point in by the larger size. Unless you have 8 pairs or more boots to do.
