Received in good working order. I like this product but it doesn't seem to play while charging which can be problematic on long journeys. Does anybody know if there is a way of getting this product to play while charging? Thank you.

Poor Quality (that's expected), Dubious Reliability (deal breaker)
I bought this device out of curiosity to see if it had the look and feel of the iPod Nano. The Vici is made in China and copying electronics is the territory the Japanese started in 40 years ago, making products with striking 'similarities' to big-brand western products. As we'll see later they haven't quite got it right this time.Firstly, it does look the mirror image of a 5th Gen iPod Nano, right down to the location of the camera on the reverse of the body. The major differentiating characteristics are the silver on/off button, the Mini-USB connection and the fact that there is no thumb-scroll for menus. The finish of the product is average. The device is very light, and is curved in the same way as a Nano, however the top and bottom are cut-out pieces of Aluminium which do not fit just right so leave a small edge/gap. The screen is grainy but you would expect that from a cheaper unit, and the camera resolution is also quite poor so video is not that appealing to look at.The controls work as you would expect although up and down is actually left and right, and the feedback on your thumb is a bit vague when you depress a key.Adding music is fairly straight forward as the device is drag and drop. I didn't spend too much time delving into whether the device would pick up album art etc. however I could not access folders 3 layers down within the folder structure, so I imagine that this might be a failing if you have multi-disc albums such as mix albums which go down that far. For everyday single albums then you'll be fine.Sound quality was OK... not quite the standard of a genuine Apple product and certainly not up there with Creative products. The supplied headphones were pretty poor, with a dull rumble at medium volume when playing anything with bass. Even using Shure E3s (perfect for this kind of device) the sound is average. The more worrying weaknesses of the product became evident quite quickly. I followed the instructions to the letter when I took the item out of it's box and charged it fully before use. After that I used the on/off to turn the device on... no problems so far. After playing with the device for 20 mins or so I turned it off. The next day the device would not start, and would only switch on when charging. Even when fully charged the device would not start unless plugged in.Clearly this is a problem and as such is the cherry on the cake in terms of making a case for avoiding the device. I could put up with the slightly cheap build (as obviously the device IS cheap!), but not powering up is a no-no. Likely it's a one off but still disappointing. It is a shame you have to open up all the fancy packaging and then find the device doesn't work but there you go, you pays your money and takes the risk. There are finer products in the market, even at this budget, and if you really want a Nano then decent second-hand ones go for twice the price but you get the real deal without the dramas. I rated this two stars, as to be fair you can't expect something which is clearly a copy to match the original and the price is indicative of what you get, so one star would be unfair. Just don't think for a moment what you are getting is anything like approaching the quality of the Nano.

Cheap, Nasty and doesn't work. AVOID!
Awful! Poor build quality, not reliable and had to be replaced within a week. Second unit is just as bad but can't be bothered to go through the returns procedure again.Very poor.

Sweex mp3 player
When I first attempted to work the player, I realised that it didn't turn on when you put it in the 'on' position. However when I looked up how to do it on the internet, I found out that you just have to press the play button after switiching it to the on position. It is also very easy to insert pictures, videos and music on to the player, which is sometimes not the case on all devices. I hope this helps.

sweex ain't so sweet
The instrutions are difficult to read, none of the buttons seem to work, uploading is easy but playback won't work unless connected to a laptop and the ear phones fall out all the time. Not Happy Sweex MP472 Vidi MP4 Player Red 4GB

Waste of money
This is rubbish. You charge it up. Add tracks. Turn it off and THEN try to turn it back on and it doesn't come back on! Defective doesn't come close. I got it to turn on ONLY when I plugged it back into my computer USB. So as a portable player it doesn't work (unless you want to lug your laptop with it) RUBBISH.

Super Design

No iba bien
Lo devolví, porque la batería no iba bien. Cuando lo conectaba a la luz se encendía y daba alguna señal, pero al desconectarlo se apagaba totalmente y no había forma de encenderlo.
