Love it!
I love the pin machine, and how many pins came with it! Over all it’s a really good machine, just sucks that I can make a 25mm pins.Side note: I will say that it was a challenge at the beginning to place the backings of the pins in the machine without it having it stuck in the holder when I was clenching down.

Works great for me
I got this button press and kit to make some buttons for my daughters school and to make some cosplay buttons. The machine works great!I have probably made 150 buttons and I've only had maybe 5 failures? And they were all user error or not pushing down hard enough *see belowI think it's mostly technique that yields good buttons. One important thing to do is to use a good template for your paper graphics, it should be about the same size as the mylar. If you make the paper design too small, it won't fold under the button correctly. I made mine 40mm in diameter for the 32mm button machine and it works great.Tips: Make sure you only use regular photocopy or laser paper. Don't use thicker paper stock. Make sure you only have one clear piece of mylar on top, not two. Static can make them stick together. Press down all the way on the lever, slowly and firmly. Doing it fast yields errors. When I press down on the backing with the safety pin, there's a noticeable point where the press stops, but then you can press it further. Press down ALL THE WAY to ensure a good tight seal.Good luck!

Lumpy and Misshappened Buttons
I've ordered from this brand/seller before and my buttons came out beautifully. This most recent purchase, however, was terrible. I was sent a different style than the last time and all of my buttons came out lumpy, uneven, and cheap looking. I run a small business and depend on high-quality products and this time around I did not get that.

A great product
Easy to use , only issue is with the cutter provide for the paper , it didn't cut at the right size . Had to use scissors , minor issue . Otherwise a brilliant product

Not great...
I have tried everything to make this machine work better than it does. I consistanly ruin about 1 in every 3 buttons, which is super frustrating and chews into the button supply. I have a huge pile of ruined buttons that I have no idea what to do with other than throw them out.I have researched every possibility I can think of to try and resolve this issue. (including contacting the supplier who just keep asking me for more info every time) Light paper stock, proper size, clamped down press, slow steady pressure, firm press, nothing seems to consistantly work. My next step is to try different button blanks as I suspect the plastic backed ones that were provided are inconsistent and faulty. I'm at a loss for what else it could be.At this point, I am just using up the supplies I have remaning, and looking for other options. Sorry, I want to be happy with this product, but can't say I'm satisfied.
