The jacket is light weight, but it's not a rain jacket. You WILL get wet if wearing it in the rain. I would describe this as more of a windbreaker type jacket. I bought this to wear outside at my farm when feeding the horses. Definitely not for even light rain.

Great rain jacket that is light and has shape. My first ever amazon purchase and I love it!The missing star is because the zipper isn’t great quality.

Great purchase for the price. Flattering over jeans for the fuller figure. Took on European vacation and it was great for light rains and wind. Took awhile to receive, so order well in advance.

I bought this jacket because it was advertised as a light weight raincoat. While it is light weight rain immediately soaked through it. Would not recommend and am in the process of returning it.

Although very cute, this jacket isn't suitable for moderate to heavy rain. I had worn this coat in drizzle and light rain and things were ok but I had planned to use this coat for any sort of rain and t does not hold up! I was soaked from moderate rain after 2 minutes!! Not worth it...

This is not a coat. It's a zipper poncho. That being said it is thin but also waterproof. I have currently been using it as a shell to go outside of my jackets. The picture shows an exaggerated waistline, the actual coat is sewn to be straight.

This jacket is perfect for those windy / rainy spring days. I liked the length (goes to mid-thigh) and the gathering at the waist line to prevent those unpleasant updrafts that can give you a chill.

I love this lightweight rain jacket. It is light enough to wear in the summer without being hot. The hood is large enough to keep the rain out of your face. The length is perfect for keeping your clothes dry.
