French-English Dictionary (Barron's Bilingual Dictionaries)

I brought this for my husband because he is Spanish and wanted to have a dictionary that can help him translate. He loves it thank you gonna get one for Spanish

I laughed so hard when I got this. Totally my fault. I meant to order an English - Spanish one not the other way around. It was a gift. I ended up returning it as I ordered the wrong item BUT it was a good dictionary if this is what you’re looking for.

This is a monster. It is large and dense. It is back-breaking to carry in a backpack.It is suitable for home reference, but not if you need to take it into school and back home every day.

I highly recommend this dictionary for any student or anyone who is serious about their Spanish studies. It is not a quick guide for someone who just wants to learn a few phrases to survive on vacation. Therefore it is not pocket size.It has a grammar guide, parts of speech and pronunciation guide. What I like most of all is the size of the print. It is not fine print so I don't have to struggle to read it. I love it!!!

3/07/2021 Just received my Spanish English Dictionary and all I can say is SERIOUSLY!! If I paid for a new item I expect it to be new and not broken or chipped. I didn't pay for broken. I am sure the actual dictionary is fine but I ratter not get stabbed in the hand every time I pick up this book the cover is like a hard plastic.3/9/21 I received a brand new Spanish English Dictionary in perfect condition, and sent the defective one back. Quick turn around and another satisfied customer. Thanks.😀

I outgrew the very basic dictionaries. I'd say I'm at an intermediate level for Spanish. This one has more words plus it's up to date. Useful prefix and suffix tables, maps etc. It's big and klunky, but worth using to understand exactly which word to use and the type is bigger and comfortable to read. I like the plastic cover. I haven't tried the free electronic dictionary, but there are online dictionaries too, so I don't know how useful that is.

OK, it is a dictionary, some grammar and maps and so on. My gripe is the plastic cover - which I suspect is not bio-degradable. The plastic splits easily and thereby leaves very sharp corners - so be careful. The battle of wounded knee (and palms) continues...

I bought this dictionary for my friend . She was very happy . Because it is not just a dictionary. It is more like that . Thank you so . I recommend this .

ページの紙が厚いので，めくりやすい。単語が水色で、説明が黒で見やすい。

It is very great, better than I thought. The first half is French to English, the second half is English to French,which is I didn't know when I buy it. It is so good for my kid start to learn French. Totally worth it!
